Fear Factory - Self Immolation (drum cover)

Fear Factory caused a big impact on me with their first album "Soul of a New Machine" (1992). Their cold and mechanical sound was the perfect soundtrack for a young sci-fi geek like me. It was like a bastard child of Godflesh and Napalm Death, but they added new genes with Dino and Raymond machine gun rhythms and Burton's "Beauty and The Beast" vocal style that settled a paradigm shift in the metal genre some years after.
"Self Immolation" was always my favorite track from the album with the über distorted bass and the relentless martial "hammer blows" that motivated me to start learning double bass technique.
