- I've learnt all my double bass technique from Fear Factory and I always liked the patterns Raymond Herrera used in this song, so I decided to record a drum cover as an homage to him for all the inspiration.
"Act of God" challenged me to begin Raymond's trademarked machine gun double-kick bursts with my left foot while playing the pre-verse like this: RLRLR LRLRL RLR

I'm a guitarist and love what Dino and Christian have done but just love the drumming that Raymond does. I think he would really respect your this homage. I wouldn't know much about the drums, I let my brother take care of that but you nailed it man and look content doing it...

That's a nice low set kit man. I can dig it. I like to play with my cymbals and high toms low too. Brilliant fresh cymbals. Love Meinls. Had to switch over to Zildjian A Customs because those Meinl cymbals are way too expensive for the time being.
***** No problem man and I totally agree with what you're saying. Saving energy is key! Especially when we metal drummers play fast and hard like we do. Can't play long gigs without sufficient strength to finish strong.

Thanks David! I use a Zoom Q3 handy recorder for all my vids placed in front of the drumkit, so it's like a room mic.
