love the art but this isnt really an anti-style tho? it's just two opposite characters drawn in the same style. antistyle would be like, if you normally draw semirealistic characters with bright colors, minimal ineart and soft shading, then doing a piece with emphasized lineart, very stylized characters, dark/desaturated colors, and harsh cel shading. i'd love to see an actual anti-style video from you tbh

I think it’s okay to have a similar artstyle to another artist, we naturally get inspired by others, and despite that, your artworks will always be unique because they’re done by you, you have your own approach and techniques.

tbh, Koolen's artstyle isn't THAT original. There i said it. I have seen plenty of people using that style . If you are into manhwa her style is very similar.

@@flyingorange2482As an artist, I do think we should strive for adding different features, drawing different races as it enhances our experience and makes us better artists.
To add: We are ARTISTS, there is no reason not to draw poc, like what would be an excuse not to? I'm not saying "omggg if you don't draw poc then you're racist!" But I genuinely think that we as artists should be able to draw poc simply bc we are ARTISTS, we can DRAW! The only thing stopping us from doing so is ourselves. Whatever the reason may be to not draw poc, I don't think it should stop you from doing so! Look up references and start from there! I believe in you!😁😁😁👍👍👍

Kooleen learning to draw more faces can help improve her art in so many ways, such as: having more variety in her art pieces, being able to create recognizable characters, and not being a fucking racist

I think you'd have to do an extremely thin nose to help make him look more 'ugly.' Like one you'd expect on a vampire or zombie that looks like it'd snap in half if it got bonked. Big noses and also hooked noses usually look really good to a lot of people, I think.

A style is how you draw and like your proportions and how simplified you want to make it
However an aesthetic is like the color palette and the theme of the drawing.

as a traditional artist that moved to digital, i only use.. 9 layers. seems like a lot, right? 1 for the sketch, 1 for the background (if it’s hand drawn,) 1 for the line art, 1 for the coloring, 2 for the eye highlight and shadows n stuff (add regular highlights on the line art layer) and 3 layers for the hair highlights.

There's no hate from my end. I don't get the hate either. People forget that if you don't like their personality, you can just watch something else.
