I have a pair of the Q2 Glows for 360 (that I ultimately tri-modded for PS4 and Cthulhu) and the biggest problem I've had is with accidental button triggers. I have gotten countless accidental button triggers on hard inputs; for example, I try to do an Ultra in SF4 and I get a red focus because a kick accidentally triggered. I tried replacing the Qanba microswitches with Seimitsu microswitches (which are slightly stiffer than Sanwa) and I had the same problem. It would be nice to try a set of these LED buttons at a cost less than that of buying the whole stick, but I'm not too hopeful.
I bought a Qanba stick a few years back and it came with multiple restrictor gates (Octo, Square, circle) to choose from and swap out. I already purchased this new one but I'm wondering if this also comes with multiple choices. Need to figure out if I should I pick up a new gate elsewhere before it arrives.
I'm assuming this is just plug and play for games on pc like street fighter and KI. That's mainly the reason why i want this because i need to use extra software to get my TE2 to work on pc
SmO787 go to SF reddit. search for steam officially supports ds4. take link in first comment. dl latest file and follow instructions further down the page (dl site not reddit). this makes it so sf5 will auto use d input without other software running.
Squeaky? Not sure how my ocd will handle that. Turn up sound bar or use headphones. Hopefully the squeak goes away after use or add some safe lubricant.
wow i was thinking of making my own, but i think i'm better off just getting this and modding it, and just installing a quick release joystick, ty for the video, completely changed what i wanted in a fight stick, and it has a touch pad!
Does anyone that owns the stick know if the squeaking is a major problem in all of the units, or is it just in this video? Looking to pick up a stick for PS4 and PC, but that squeaking looks like it could be a major turn off since it seemed loud in this video atleast.
Update me if it does ever get squeaky like it does in the video. Huge flaw if it is present, but I can't seem to find any info on it other than on this video. This is my lost likely contender for my first fight stick though. Just gotta stop buying PC parts for a while and save up a bit...

While I love the RAP4 I have the hayabusa lever, with the Crystal you have to spend more if you don't like the qanba parts but you get a stick that's just as well built and has LED's which is usually a premium feature you pay a lot for. It's really what floats your boat, I have both and they both have pro's and cons.

that stick is baller as fuck. You mentioned modding buttons but how easy would it be to change the artwork on it? (if its possible)
not hard, you'd just take the screw covers off of the plexi, remove them, remove the ball top, and take the buttons out.

This one's MUCH better. The drone is meant to be a starter but if you can afford it go for the crystal

Personally if it's your first stick for tekken I'd use a bat top or a Korean style stick, since they are easier to get into

I think he's asking for the same reason as me... price. Qanba Crystal and Hori Pro 4 are similarly cheaper.
Both companies have a really good reputation of making good quality sticks. I'd say hori because I think it's easier to mod.

The rubber pads that goes on each corner for table-top gaming are gone.
That's what the friction strips are for, they keep it from slipping on any surface

PS4 controllers work on PS3 by default and Guilty Gear on the PS4 has native support for PS3 sticks.
