Hi, Thanks! You can print directly from photoshop. But what I usually do is just a create a new photoshop file that is exactly the size I want to print, in my case 11x17" @300dpi. Then I copy the finished art into it without changing its scale, then save it as a PDF. When I get it printed I tell them to print it at 100% scale.
The connectors are pretty tight, so you have to pull pretty hard sometimes. Just make sure you grab the connector at the base and not the wire, and try to wiggle them a bit as you pull.
You mean the file I hosted on the google drive? Its a .PSD file so you need Photoshop or another program like it to open the file. And yes im pretty sure the Mayflash F500 elite works on the Xbox One.
haha thanks man. For this stick in particular you want to put the artwork under the plexiglass top plate. But the plexiglass is held in place by the buttons, so you need to remove the backplate and buttons etc... Though even if you were putting a vinyl artwork on a stick without a removeable plexiglass top plate, its best to remove the buttons so that the artwork is tucked underneath them for the cleanest result. Does that make sense?

@@novo1858 thanks for sharing, I was about to ask for the template to make my own but I'm not very good at photoshop to begin with, I'm thinking about buying some colored buttons and the iconic red ball for the stick because I find the gray too boring lmao.
@@javierortiz82 Hey your Welcome! I designed the artwork specifically around the grey buttons, trust me it looks really good with the artwork in. And its also pretty unique to have grey buttons. But at the same time I know what you mean, to me the classic arcade colour layout is the "SEGA Green and Pink" from their Candy cabs. I'd recommened going with something maybe subdued if you can find it. Light blue or pink to matcht he art? Or just do whatever the hell you want lol.
@@novo1858 I was thinking about a color array like the classic MVS machines (Red, Yellow, Green, Blue), still, I'm just thinking about it, any updates I'll make sure to show them off lol. Thanks a lot.
Hi there, it's best to get something professionally printed on slightly thicker paper, but if you are able to print on 11x17 paper at home or something like that you might just have to do 2 layers to make it thick enough. Or simply put your new artwork on top of the existing one already in there. Print shops are generally quite cheap for a single print however, only a couple dollars or so.
Hi there. I do not think the F300 Elite has a plexi glass top, so you cannot simply put a piece of art work in it like the F500. However, you could still add a custom vinyl sticker to the control plate.
Hey man, it's actually very simple and straight forward. Just make sure you take a picture of it as soon as the bottom panel is off so you have a reference for how everything will go back together. Just watch the video a couple times, and maybe a video or two on how arcade sticks are wired. You can do it!!!
@@jhx97 Hey no problem. This video seems like a pretty good explanation ua-cam.com/video/Q1rrPG1azGs/v-deo.html. Each button has a positive and negative wire, and the board the wires are connected to is labeled with the corresponding button assignment. As long as you take a picture of it before you start taking it apart, I am very confident anyone could put it back to together. These devices are also meant to be taken apart and modified, so don't worry too much about breaking it. Just take your time.
@@novo1858 bro I'm kinda panicking here, the wires of the buttons are extremely tight and i can't remove them! I'm afraid i might end up damaging a cable D: what do I do?!?!
Well, sharp good scissors actually make a cleaner cut because there are blades cutting from both sides. Surgical knife blade cuts are sometimes ugly on the back side. Also I'm just good with scissors lol, anything will work.
Hey, long shot here but is there a way I can pay you to cut this out for me? I'll even pay for shipping. I don't have the tools to do this but I really really want this lmao
Hey there, I could possibly do this. To make it worth my time I would charge $50 USD to get it printed, cut it out, and cover me for the time it takes to figure out shipping etc.. But then I'm not sure how much it would cost to ship, as I would have to send it in a tube. It could be as much as $30 for shipping, I'm not sure. Does that still interest you?
it seems like he did since he needed to remove the buttons in order to take off the plastic plate, and he could only do that if he disconnected the wires to the buttons.
Hmmm no not at all dude. Those are some really nice art Fiskars scissors that I sharpened before cutting. It's more accurate to cut straight lines with a pair of good scissors than a blade alone.

The cool thing is that it's so easy to customize so that you can always swap out the PCB for a Brooks board in the future if you want the best experience.

anyways...have you tried the mayflash f500 elite with online fighting games?
What type of paper did you use?
I printed mine on 11x17 glossy paper. Just check with the printer you go to, check that the paper is around the same thicknes as the artwork already in there and you're good!
How about the size of the artwork?
@@novo1858 Don't really have and know how to use adobe, but i want custom artwork on the mayflash f500 elite, getting it soon. New to fighting games as well.
@@symonmyls9247 This is a great project to learn Photoshop with! Its pretty easy to learn, particularly for a project as simple as this can be. Just figure out a way to get ahold of photoshop (torrent) and then look up some tutorials of the basics here on UA-cam.
You can also download the artwork template from this link:
support.focusattack.com/hc/en-us/articles/207447753-Control-Panel-Templates
Good luck!
@@novo1858 Thanks for your help man.
Nice! Thanks man. Subbed! May I ask? When printing, do you print it on the Photshop directly or saved the image as PDF then set it as A3?
How did you remove the button wires so quickly? I can't get them out at all
The connectors are pretty tight, so you have to pull pretty hard sometimes. Just make sure you grab the connector at the base and not the wire, and try to wiggle them a bit as you pull.
Question lol so how do i check the art or file i picked on the website? And does this stick work on xbox one?
You mean the file I hosted on the google drive? Its a .PSD file so you need Photoshop or another program like it to open the file. And yes im pretty sure the Mayflash F500 elite works on the Xbox One.
It works you just have to plug a controller into the usb in front
Ur so skilled u prolly couldve done it without that fr💯
haha thanks man.
Did you print this yourself or get it done at a shop
Hey there, I got it printed at a shop
Hey man where did u get that air bump? >D Thanks for the video
Air bump??? I don't know what you mean lol. But no problem for the video hahahaha. Thanks.
Love this artwork!! Would you be willing to share the .psd file?
Hey man, sorry for the late reply. After thinking about it, yes I don't mind sharing my design!
You can find the PSD file at this link: drive.google.com/file/d/1ncnP8lJkyn-4Z2x0KDvJisnEChL1EJKb/view?usp=sharing
If you end up posting the design anywhere, would you be so kind to link this video, and also mention the original Artist who drew the pinup girl at instagram.com/vinne.art/
@@javierortiz82 Sounds good!
planning to get one soon. will a normal paper work for this?
Hi there, it's best to get something professionally printed on slightly thicker paper, but if you are able to print on 11x17 paper at home or something like that you might just have to do 2 layers to make it thick enough. Or simply put your new artwork on top of the existing one already in there. Print shops are generally quite cheap for a single print however, only a couple dollars or so.
what is best controlar for kof 2002
Sir is this applicable to mayflash f300 elite as well?
Hi there. I do not think the F300 Elite has a plexi glass top, so you cannot simply put a piece of art work in it like the F500. However, you could still add a custom vinyl sticker to the control plate.
What kind of paper when you print your skin just a nornal bond paper?
Hi there, just 11x17" gloss stock from a local printer, nothing fancy.
@@novo1858 Thank you so much!
@@nixietyy you're welcome!
What is the name of the paper material? I'm from Mexico.
Hi there, just use a glossy thicker stock paper. Nothing special, just make sure it's the right size. I used 11X17".
bro i'm so afraid to open my f500 and messing something up
Hey man, it's actually very simple and straight forward. Just make sure you take a picture of it as soon as the bottom panel is off so you have a reference for how everything will go back together. Just watch the video a couple times, and maybe a video or two on how arcade sticks are wired. You can do it!!!
@@novo1858 thanks for the fast answer and the encouragement, i really appreciate it!! :) can you recommend me a video about arcade stick wiring?
@@novo1858 i mean, to know how arcade sticks are wired
I don't get it. Why use the scissors when you have an x-acto knife?
Well, sharp good scissors actually make a cleaner cut because there are blades cutting from both sides. Surgical knife blade cuts are sometimes ugly on the back side. Also I'm just good with scissors lol, anything will work.
@@novo1858 fair enough
You get that F500 to work on Guilty Gear Strive beta ps5?..
Not sure, don't have a PS5.
Where or how do you make the artwork you all already have it printed out.
Hi there, you can make the digital artwork in a program like Adobe Photoshop, and you can get it printed at any print shop really.
Can you send me the full stick art work
Hey, there's a link in the description to a Google drive download of it.
Who's the girl?
Its supposed to be a "tactical" rendition of Sailor Saturn, from Sailer Moon.
Does that still interest you?
nice! what paper did you print your artwork on?
You can use anything really, but I used glossy and something a little thicker so it doesn't warp under the plexi. And 11*17 size
Is it ps5 compatible?
I haven't tried it myself, but yes apparently it is compatible with the latest firmware!
Please gift it to me 🙏😊
U didnt really have to take out the back did u
it seems like he did since he needed to remove the buttons in order to take off the plastic plate, and he could only do that if he disconnected the wires to the buttons.
@@SiBai- Correct.
Bruh you traced everything with an exacto knife, but then switched to scissor and obliterated your precision
Hmmm no not at all dude. Those are some really nice art Fiskars scissors that I sharpened before cutting. It's more accurate to cut straight lines with a pair of good scissors than a blade alone.
Whos that girl?
I didn't draw the girl, but it is fan art of Sailor Saturn for the show Sailor Moon.
