I was pretty underwhelmed with the all-plastic bottom on mine for a $200 peripheral. The more you handle it and do maintenance on the stick the more it becomes a glaring shortcut. The finished aluminum led-lit ends are really the only hallmarks of this stick when it comes down to it. If Qanba were able to make the bottom of the same steel as the top plate (similar to Hori) and add some quick-disconnects for easier access to the internals then we'd have a real legend on our hands.
I think this is the best stick for the money I bought the pantera and the cable died also the case hinge is cheap replaced it with qanda obsidian way better build quality. Did have to adjust to the joystick being 10mm lower than it is on my hori vx sa.
Exactly what I was fearing.. I purchased the Panthera and just revised my order to grab the Obsidian instead since I purchased a detachable A to B switch for $10.
I bought this arcade cabinet controller recently and I thought it was a alright. I don't travel much so I didn't find a problem with it. I didn't understand some of the buttons on the top so thanks for the information!
The only thing im concerned about is the spacing between the stick and buttons. I plan on purchasing this and its going to be my first stick. Does this matter, does it get in the way, is it a negative or positive? can you elaborate a little more on this factor. :)
Carlos Henrique No problem - Keep an eye out for Sanwa-compatible bat tops (as opposed to balltops) from focusattack.com, arcadeshock.com, and paradisearcadeshop. Most of them will come with an adapter and everything for the JLF.
Nice I was looking at this. My newest qanba stick is the after glow. My newest stick is the Hori RAP 4 Kai. I was looking at a Victorix but for 349$ idk have you had any experience with that. I never heard of the brand
With the three fightsticks you had in the video which one would you choose as a beginning stick the hori pro n or(4 kai), the qanba obsidian or the Razer panthera?
Mr. Sujano well thank you. I decide by the obsidian on your recommendation because if I don't like it I can always sell it to my friend who is looking for a fightstick
Raul Gubert 8bitdo makes one - you would have to swap out the buttons and lever for Sanwas if you want something a little closer to the same ballpark as the Obsidian.
thenk you for the quick reply, I knew about the 8bitdo, which is nice, but I was looking for something with higher quality, I actually found a name but I cannot find any video review about this product...is called GameSir C2 Arcade Fightstick , it seems the one I'm looking for but I'm not sure as there are little little information....anyway, thank you for your replay....I think there is room for good quality android based Platform....
Raul Gubert Oh, the GameSir C2! I don't think it's wireless at all - you'd either hook it up via usb to an android tv box or via OTG cable...which you can do with other fightsticks as well. It looks nice, but unfortunately I haven't had a chance to try it out.
Saidul Alam It depends on what you are going for - if you like Hayabusa buttons, and a slightly lighter stick - go for the Hori. Otherwise, I'd say the Obsidian is the better of the two in a head-to-head matchup.
Best review on this stick anywhere on UA-cam.

Thomas Wyatt I have heard about the cable issues on the Panthera, not much about the hinges though. Glad you like the Obsidian!

I prefer Hori's design. "option" button is mechanic button, and it's on the top of the panel.

TheEmulating Gamer Glad I could help!

You can get a different panel with a different layout. They sell them at arcadeshock. That's what I plan to do.
Is it possible to replace the balltop for an American style handle?
Carlos Henrique Yes, thats one of the easier things to do. It's a very simple switch.
I'll buy the Obsidian in a few days, and I want to change as soon as possible.. So thank you

Mr. Sujano I brought.. Newegg had for 169$ + Tekken 7 as gift... wow what a great deal. Now wait till arrive in Brazil
Carlos Henrique Wow, what a steal! Enjoy!!

TrojanSalesmen Hori if you want to save a few bucks - but I'd recommend the Obsidian overall.
Mr. Sujano well thank you. I decide by the obsidian on your recommendation because if I don't like it I can always sell it to my friend who is looking for a fightstick
My favorite fightsticks are the Razer Panthera and Razer Atrox because they come with additional bat-tops for your joystick. Who needs ball-tops?
Dustin Nunn its a matter of preference
This or the Panthera?
I'll swap it with bat tap, gun metal buttons and a link shaft.
those metal buttons look amazing - I was thinking about doing a similar mod!
Hello, what Its better choise Razer phantera or qamba Obsidian for PC? Exelent video.
tony maclen Thanks! Both are good choices, but I would recommend the Qanba if you are strictly using PC.
Didn’t show removal of back cover. Having trouble removing mine, even with all five screws out
Kenneth Doud There are 6 screws - one under the white circle label
Mr. Sujano thank you sir!
Good review, thank you!
You should demo the stick.
do you know if there is quality android fight stick? thank you...

Mr. Sujano great, thank you for the useful information..👍👋
Raul Gubert were you trying to hook it up to your Android phone,t.v or Nvidia shield?
now we need a review for the Panthera :D
yo man can you clarify something with me? It says the stick is only 6 pounds bro, that's pretty light.. X: I might buy this off someone tomorrow..
Future Trunks Sorry for the late reply! I didnt see this comment. My scale says between 6/7. Not overly heavy, but heavier than a lot out there.
Should have silver buttons too
MessingAround Awesome idea!! Haha looks like that may be my next upgrade!
TORONTO IN THE HOUSE!!!!!
bought this thing and sold them after a month and got hori fighting edge instead.
Hori Real Arcade Pro V Kai or this ?

cheers, I ordered one of this from amazon. This one seems much better build quality.
Just to clarify. Does the mode button change the balltop to both right and left analogue stick at the same time or just one side at a time?
Book Book Just one at a time. There are three individual modes: dpad, left stick, and right stick.
Mr. Sujano Thanks for the quick reply!
Book Book No problem! Thanks for watching!
You get a like for a great video and for being a Leafs fan.
