Peavey has announced the Peavey Invective.MH, Misha Mansoor's second signature Peavey amp. It's a smaller version of the Invective.120, a 20-watt head, and is equipped with EL84 power tubes shaped by three 12AX7 preamp tubes.

What kind of a tube head do you get for 399$? Yes 699 is a lot but it's a signature amp after all. And unlike many other Mini Heads it actually packs 2 channels and the main features of the 120 Watt version inside that small form factor.

What is the big difference with Peavey 6505 Mini Head that cost $400 - $499
6505 mh is now 599$. Prices went up this year. The invective has more features as mentioned on the video.

I saw the video and I was SO hopeful, but just looking at the specs and stuff it looks like a slightly different 6505MH, which I have already. Same tubes, same backplate I/O. Probably leaps and bounds over the 6505MH's clean channel, but not enough that I'd consider getting it. Also $799? they cost a bit more than half that not long ago

Well mishas big head costs 2k and it's just a decked out 6505, which you can get used for less than 500 on craigslist, so I would expect this to be more than the 6505 mini. Just save the money and get a 6505 used head. It's the same tones plus u have the power if u need it. Mishas great guy but I wouldn't buy the invective. I did buy his bare knuckle juggernaut pickups tho and they're great for every style music. Really good midrange and punch.

Zero sound demo. Zero information on the tube compliment. Zero nailed down price point. Zero nailed down release date. And pretty much the worst microphone placement, so we can't hear the answers to questions. That's 4 minutes I won't get back.

Between my step-dad (who was an engineer at Peavey) and my pal who works on "Undercover Boss", Hartly Peavey is a dick. F- Peavey unless it is the silver faced spring reverb term/verb and/or tube mixer (80's)...then its a trade off.
As someone who works in the electronics industry I cried at that episode of UB, i hate Hartly so much
