- This is my unboxing and first look at the Voxelab Proxima Resin 3D printer. This printer has a 2K Monochrome LCD Screen. I start with unboxing and then go through the installation of a screen protector, levelling the bed and starting the first print. Hope it helps you in setting up your printer too. I've got one of these myself, first 3d printer. I'm pretty happy with it overall. I think my biggest problem is learning how to support properly.
If you are new to 3D printing or resin printing then that is normally a very normal issue. But one thing you can do is add more supports after the software has already done them (Chitubox or voxelprint). Having more supports will be fine until you start learning where they are actually needed. Sometimes my parts have failed and when I reviewed the print I saw where the failure was actually happening consistently and put more supports there. It is a very exciting hobby and I am sure you are enjoying it.
@@AmzTechwizard I'm new to both, the Proxima was my Christmas present to myself. Used it to make gifts for the holiday. Mostly worked out.. but my support work needs work. But I get impatient. Still learning.

I just saw the video and realised I had done as you said. I have recorded the video, just need to edit and post. Promise to do it this week.

@@jessepowellmason I finally have some time off work so will get one out. Mostly can only shoot the videos at night after the kids are in bed ;)

Compared to the elegoo mars how does this compare? This one is $50 cheaper than even a mars pro I'm wondering if this is the budget/beginner friendly go to?
I actually had an Elegoo mars 2 Pro which I returned and replaced with this one. I also currently own an Elegoo Mars Pro. But the build plate on the Voxelab is bigger than the Mars Pro and the print quality is just the same. This has become my go to printer and I rarely use the Elegoo. I have only had to reset the build plate twice since I got it and only had a couple of failed prints which were my fault too. Overall an amazing printer. I am planning to post a video comparing both so do watch.

Could you please post that Sliced print (or anything already sliced for this Printer)? I am looking for it to run a Test Print on my printer as all the Prints thus Far are just Flat with nothing else printing except for the Flat Base.
Please help...
