    I'll certainly feel very happy when I see that it's pushing out 17 - 23 MPG's on freeway and 13 - 17 MPG's in town.... Then it'll be all worthwhile for adding all that Bling Bling...

    I love this time lapse approach. I think engine assembly is my favourite part of all this stuff, this video is a great idea and I wish more people would do it.

    Yea, we are definitely bracket racing 😂! I don’t mind showing a side by side of us heads up, but I hope the viewers enjoy Dart Taillights! Congrats on a smooth build. Unknown your computer is smoking after having to compress all that footage. Cheers 🍻 to an awesome job! Payday will be soon.

    Brought back memories of my first 340 build back in 1973. I even made my own rear sump oil pan for my Milodon pump! Racing in Super Stock was challenging back then as the racing parts for 340's was limited to Direct Connection and Ed Hamburger!😀 Good luck and happy racing!

    Did you port mach the trick flow 190 heads for the header flange or did you let Dem stock aut of the box

    Real curious what it will do. I have a 408 a lot like this. Trickflow heads, same icon pistons Strip Dominator intake but have a Super Victor going to port match and put on this summer. 950 carb and howards solid 600/615 254/260 at 108. I think mine with the strip dominator is making in the 550 area but never on the dyno just a few track runs. I wish I had a solid roller in it but things get expensive! Hope you can share what camshaft you ended up with in the build. Thanks for the sharing you do on here

    • @SimpsonsSpeedShop
      @SimpsonsSpeedShop  2 роки тому +1

      Hey full build details will be in dyno vid but it’s a solid roller 248/254 amd with the 1:6 rockers getting .616/.625ish
