    Love it! Back in my country when I was a kid we would get the mangoes out of the trees green and make a salad you cut it as a French fry and after you slice in cubes toss in with salt, pepper, cumin and a little bit of vinegar…(my mouth is watering!) we would take the pit and place on the dirt. It’s the easiest fruit to harvest!

    Easiest way to get the seed out, use scissors or secateurs to cut the pod along the flattest part, then pry it open. No messing around or risking cutting yourself.

I even ended up growing a lot of avocado in my home, it was too much so I gave them away to my friends :))) and they loved it. I would definitely try this method asap.

    If I listen carefully, I think can
    hear houseplants make anguished noises when I bring them home because they know the end is nigh. I'm happy to have your help to turn that around. The plants in your place are beautiful. I've tried to grow avocado pits more times than I can count, and none have rooted...but I just watched your video and I'm optimistic that your method will work. My SO is from the Caribbean, and we eat lots of mangoes and avocados, so hopefully, we'll be in pit sprouting heaven soon. Thank you!

    Okay im a bit lost. I understand everything right around the actually growing part. So you take the seed, you roll it in some damp towels and put it in a zip lock bag, then a week later, you take it out, and put it in a vase full of water? Am I understanding that correctly?

    • @madeline569
      @madeline569 3 роки тому

      Yes that's what I understood as well. After a week or two there should be a root coming out of the mango seed in the paper towel, from there you can put it in a jar of water or in soil I think

    • @rababallawati5295
      @rababallawati5295 3 роки тому +1

      Yep! I’ve found keeping your seeds half submerged in water and changing the water 1-2 times daily (you will see the water brown anyway) is the fastest way to germinate the seeds though. The seeds open a little in like 2 days and by the end of the week there are leaves peeking out! So nice to watch

    I apologize in advance for my bad English. I sometimes use google translate.
    I'm curious. When you laugh just before the cut, is it an artistic transition or is it due to prodromal laughter disease? If this is indeed the case with the disease, I take my hat off to you. I admire you ! You knew how to transform your handicap into an asset. If I ask you the question, it's because I too am handicapped (I'm deaf).

      @@bradcanning I have a very interesting question for you.
      I went to three different marks, so I bought 3 different mangos, which I brought to home and then I made the process with the three of them. Will my mangos be different one from each other because of that or they will grow on the same way. We know that avocados all are very similar, on the contrary to mangos, that's why I'm asking this. But of course you can take time to answer this question on the video, will be glad to hear the answer ☺
