I have like 15 Avocados seeds in water rooting now but no plant yet
Exited to try the mango
That mango looked amazing in all stages of its life 😂

@Jacinda Robson Hahah yes I am the famous Brad Canning's much better looking, funnier, all around more amazing sibling
I love how straight to the point and fun your videos are. Can't wait for more plant videos!
thank you!
I watched this video then I watched it in slow motion and lemme just say, its REALY entertaining.
dead 😂😂
Yesss, my mango seeding has popped out a root! Thank you 😍
yay! 🥭
Love your energy and happy personality, Brad!!!
I have no idea how mango should grow that method way. What a lifesaver, thank you!
i just fall in love with all the plants behind you and the way to keep the plants in vases or jars. It's aesthetic and there is less dirt around them. Awesome video and inspiring ideas!
Love it! Back in my country when I was a kid we would get the mangoes out of the trees green and make a salad you cut it as a French fry and after you slice in cubes toss in with salt, pepper, cumin and a little bit of vinegar…(my mouth is watering!) we would take the pit and place on the dirt. It’s the easiest fruit to harvest!
Welcome back :) Currently trying to grow an avocado plant using your video, it's been really fun and exciting and I'm sure I'll love this video too!!
yay! let’s hope it spouts soon!
Is it still alive?:))
Easiest way to get the seed out, use scissors or secateurs to cut the pod along the flattest part, then pry it open. No messing around or risking cutting yourself.
I’ve managed to grow a couple of avocados thanks to your TikTok videos. Try soaking the husk in hot water for 30 mins or so... Makes it a lot easier to get into.
i did it with a hacksaw, works wonders
I freaking love you! The way you present and laugh! I just wanna plant mangoes now!!
We’re trying this and the avocado !!!! Can’t wait !
I love these videos showing how to grow plants from food from the supermarket!
Not lying, when you said the pit looked like a squashed frog... I was crying w laughter 😅
Again, fave channel on growing plants has, and again I'm like 5247 hours in so I know a good video when I see it :) Thank you!
If you wash the mango seed and then let it fully dry, it’s very easy to open up the husk and get the seed out
You had me in the first second on the thumbnail
I was confused 😂
Honestly, I want to say thank you so much for your tips. I have done the same way as your tips in growing avocados and it worked so well. I even ended up growing a lot of avocado in my home, it was too much so I gave them away to my friends :))) and they loved it. I would definitely try this method asap.
OMG i love your videos so much!! I watch your videos every day, and i even started a little avocado project myself.🥑
that’s awesome!! thank you so much!!

@@bradcanning I have been waiting 8 months, pls an update
If I listen carefully, I think can
hear houseplants make anguished noises when I bring them home because they know the end is nigh. I'm happy to have your help to turn that around. The plants in your place are beautiful. I've tried to grow avocado pits more times than I can count, and none have rooted...but I just watched your video and I'm optimistic that your method will work. My SO is from the Caribbean, and we eat lots of mangoes and avocados, so hopefully, we'll be in pit sprouting heaven soon. Thank you!
“I’m going to be showing you how to turn this mango 🥭 into this… mango.” Iconic 🤣
🤣🤣
Okay im a bit lost. I understand everything right around the actually growing part. So you take the seed, you roll it in some damp towels and put it in a zip lock bag, then a week later, you take it out, and put it in a vase full of water? Am I understanding that correctly?
Yes that's what I understood as well. After a week or two there should be a root coming out of the mango seed in the paper towel, from there you can put it in a jar of water or in soil I think
Yep! I’ve found keeping your seeds half submerged in water and changing the water 1-2 times daily (you will see the water brown anyway) is the fastest way to germinate the seeds though. The seeds open a little in like 2 days and by the end of the week there are leaves peeking out! So nice to watch
It is so easy to grow! They make lovely house plants
🔥Squash frog lol
✌Foreals😂
Your raphidora tetrasperma is so cuteee
Your amazing thank you for all your help!! Subscribed!!!
This is wonderful
Love your show or I should say DYI

Thank you so much for showing how to grow a mango .
"Cut it like the normally you cut a mango"
*surprised pikachu face*
I just subscribed to your channel and I LOVEEEEEEEE YOUR CONTENT!!! 😍😍😍😍
The subscribe joke made me sub😂
Thank you brother , for this vedio
Here from tiktok and wow! This is an awesome idea! Glad I found your channel!
thank you!
Need more of these videos!!!
more coming up!
I apologize in advance for my bad English. I sometimes use google translate.
I'm curious. When you laugh just before the cut, is it an artistic transition or is it due to prodromal laughter disease? If this is indeed the case with the disease, I take my hat off to you. I admire you ! You knew how to transform your handicap into an asset. If I ask you the question, it's because I too am handicapped (I'm deaf).
Does the seed rot when you put the seeding in a pot? Any tips to prevent that?
Awesome. Im trying both the Avo & the Mango. Wish me luck : )
I’d love more videos on different fruits!
Quick question; why cold place and not somewhere hot?
Hey dude!! Thanks for the video, i subscribed and good luck with your business
Yes pls make more plant videos 😍
It's easier and safer to let the husk dry out a little first.
Hey Brad, nice video! May you tell me where I can buy the lamp in the background ? 🙂
Would love to see how you did the sweet potato! Looks super cool :)
Grew one like these 3 sprouts are growing
Very nicely done 💕👍
Love your video. I am going to start growing . Thanks.. I want to get some of those cones.. I will keep an eye out for yours
Fun Fact about mangoes they closely related to stone fruits like peaches plums and cherries
Can the mango stay in water like the avocado, or does it need to get in soil after some time?
I ate the mango hair. I hope I don't die now lol.
Share alllll of the plant baby growth. Thank you 😂😍
Love it. Can't wait to try it your way.
it’s super easy! 🥭
Thanks for the video. Does the mango need to be fully ripe? Can it grow from a green mango? Thanks.
Love the video mate! I always laugh watching these videos tho as the last 3 mangos I’ve started I just stuck the pit, husk and all into a pot of dirt and a mango tree sprouted!
I’m sure this method is a much more sure and tidy way of going about things, but seems like lots of extra work 🤔
I am enjoying your vids I am doing a mango it kind off working
My way like the mango seed and the water and yeah
My mango grow same as rooth.as soon as rooth start to grow put it in water.after 5 days in paper towel you can put it in water
“The husk is TOUGH” Me a 13 year old who cut off all the fruit, make a little hole in the husk and used a mechanical pencil to open it 🤨
Yooooo I love your vids brad
thank you so much!
i tried this and it worked ❤️
amazing!!!
Can we have a video on how to grow Jackfruit?
Hello... in one of your video shorts on growing mangoes in water, you injected some sort of liquid? That must be liquid fertilizer?
i cut into the husk and took the pip out and you said there we be a layer of skin and i started scratching it and found out the skin of the pip was stuck to the inside of the husk lol
Thanks. I did it all the three seed of mango germinated 😄
Please make a video on how to grow peaches
I try all different methods for two years for avocados and just could not get them to grow I tried with your method and it worked first time by far the best method 🥑🥑🥑🥑
that’s awesome! & I’ll look into the peaches
So cute can’t wait to support your store yaaas
thank you!
Where do you keep the mango while growing after germination? Near a window or outside ?
To remove the shell it’s easier to point the knife and then roll it down
Great video! Thank you 😊 Can you keep growing them in water or would u need to transfer the seedlings to soil eventually?
I´ve just did the bag with the seed inside !! Wish me luck people.
my fingers are crossed 🤞🏻
@@bradcanning I have a very interesting question for you.
I went to three different marks, so I bought 3 different mangos, which I brought to home and then I made the process with the three of them. Will my mangos be different one from each other because of that or they will grow on the same way. We know that avocados all are very similar, on the contrary to mangos, that's why I'm asking this. But of course you can take time to answer this question on the video, will be glad to hear the answer ☺
Replace the paper towel and don’t wet it too much after replacing, because mine came out black
can u do cherries???? i really want to grow one!!! ❤❤
Love love love your videos. How long until the plant "after you soil it" produces a mango?
I've read that they start growing fruits after about 10 years- kinda depends on climate, soil quality, planting location etc.
Hi. I know you said in the Avocado video that the plant won’t grow another avocado. Will the mango grow a fruit ?
Keen to know the answer to this one
Hi, thanks for the help💕 If you plant the Mango in soil, how much water will it need?
Should i put in a dark place or just on the counter?
My mangoes are growing sloooow! It’s been 3 weeks there’s only tiny root
After 2 weeks of waiting, there was a root. I put the mango root in water, then the mango fell of and hit the ground on its root... now there is no root
The mango plant will grow indoors?
I actually use scissors to cut a bit of the husk, then wiggle the knife in
great point!
I've had one mango seed go black in the damp paper before any shoot came out, and another shoot and be put in water only to have what I think is black mould.... What am I doing wrong?! Please!
in stead of ziplock bags can u used container that is not sealed
Is this just me or I just played with the mango hair and cut it off and there was a hole already ???!!!
About how long do we have to wait for the mango seeds in the plastic bags to start growing roots and remove them from the bags to start propagation?
Can you make a video how to plant a lemon ? That would be so nice
I’ll definitely look into it
Awesome :) Thanks!
any time!
How long does a mango take to bear fruits and so a avocado as well how long please
Can mango live just in water like the avocado?
