I feel like what happened is they used to chop up a zone and make a tiny part of it the raid, even if you escaped there wasn't much outside. Now I feel like what they do is copy/paste the entire continent and then do "build-up" work. Icecrown Citadel feels like the first time they did this too because of the outside of that Raid "sort of" looks like a chopped Northrend but when you really look at it, it's not even close - then suddenly in Cataclysm everything out of bounds is 1:1.

I dont know if its still a thing, but there was a Fel comet item you could use in Legion, literaly launches you in the sky and you keep flying with it. Same item with diff name was in MoP remix
Oh man I used to do out of bounds shit way back when but they fixed most underground clips because the bots exploiting them (and ofc them being bugs anyway and liable to get fixed). I need to get a DH cooked up and get good at parkour. Love this stuff. Could glitch out of worgen start scenario without getting cursed back in Cata. Was sad when a patch added the skill to my character and ruined my "human" druid. Underneath Northrend. Karazan(pick-own-h) basement. The upside down sinners. Also got a Blood Knight Tabard (BE paladin exclusive tabard) on an old rogue twink. There was a brief bug in Cata that allowed any blood elf to buy it. I am not sure how many people have these still.
I think you just never found a cat to like , cats are great i've never had a cat attack me. lol If anything I pester the shit out of my cats they are fun animals to own. You''re missing out man :P

Outlaw Rogue with its Grappling Hook would be useful in there as you can just target, where you would like to go.
