Best compliment was when Steph Curry was asked to name the 5 best ball handlers , he replied , “ you can’t have a top 5 without including pistol Pete “ !

Yeah same thing is gonna happen to Caitlin Clark. Most of the league is going to be upset with her earnings and endorsements. They’re going to be jealous.
She's signing a WNBA contract for $80,000 a year. $80,000 - she could make more money as a TV commentator! Only saving grace is how much she'll make through sponsor deals. @@alansnow1129
Bitter and petty Oscar Robertson says everyone can do what Maravich did with his ball handling! What a lie. Let's see you do it, Oscar! Robertson always knocked Maravich and other great players out of jealousy. Robertson was Mr. Overrated if anyone was!
He had no support system on the Hawks, including the coach and management who threw him under the bus rather than tell his teammates to work with him . They should’ve traded for more accommodating teammates . Wasn’t til he joined the Celtics did he get actual TEAMMATES who helped him and set picks and shared the ball instead of padding stats ! I’d of traded every complainer and see if other teams will pay those ingrates more . Lou Hudson never achieved the 27 ppg he got alongside Pete !
He was searching for the meaning of life and he found it for himself in jesus christ and he wanted to share his testimony but he didnt force it on anyone and respected all
He scored 68 points without a 3 point line. That means if he had a 3 point line he would still have the record for most points in a game because he shot the ball from outside a lot
Whats sad that Pete died young , but his loss was a burden to his sons especially Josh who died a week ago . I know losing my dad was tough , but I had him longer than his sons did .

What are you saying? What about the interview he was supposed to give? Where did hear that or get that information? Are you saying something nefarious happened?
God gave Pete the right amount of time for Pete to find his greatest love in Jesus.
Pistol Pete would own the NBA in this era of LeBron & Curry

Shame on Oscar Robertson for his inaccurate criticism of Pete. Jealousy.
100% spot on.
Oscar would probably criticize Jerry West same way !
Oscar who????
He was obviously still salty about Pete breaking his NCAA scoring record

Oscar definitely was not impressed
Well, Oscar thinks he was better than Jordan and Curry, too....so thank goodness he had a chance to play with Jabbar (the greatest player of his era) and even then only won the NBA championship once. The individual matchups against Oscar were not shabby at all for Maravich....so perhaps the Big O's infamous jealous vein at work in his memory, too.
