The molded skeg is a great feature of this SUP. I have paddled this on rivers, creeks, lakes, and ponds and the overall design is well thought-out and executed extremely well. The SUP is fast, sleek, drains water quickly away from the standing area and maneuvers very easy thanks to that large molded skeg. THe seat is extremely comfortable and offers a myriad of adjustments to make it fit you like a glove. The SUP is not turned easily by wind, tracks like an arrow, turns easy with a stroke or two of the paddle and you can trim the seat forward or back to help ensure the weight aboard is balanced well. The addition of having a seat when paddling against the wind is a huge advantage over other SUPs, as the seat allows you to sit in a comfortable position and still maintain ease of paddling.

Made in USA is great. Would like to see someone using it though.

Georgia Bassmasters thanks man! Experience feels like the first time I ever took a kayak out all over again- connected to nature and even closer to the water.

Nice hull design. Can you do an on the water review? Can you list the specs? LxWxH, weight, etc. I’d like to see a “pro” version with 8in bow hatch/dry storage, ridged center or side handles, and a skid plate on the rear skeg!

I absolutely love the look of this SUP. Unfortunately, I've never used one. Are they meant strictly for still, flat water such as lakes and ponds?

Zane Joplin I think they probably excel on still, flat water like all SUPs do... but I’ve seen the Crescent SUP+ used on class 1-2 rivers, I think with the molded skeg and seat it’s truly a great hybrid.

While the SUPs work fantastic on still waters, I have had mine on creeks and rivers and had no issues. Not made for class 3 Rapids but lower end rivers are good.
They are also great for inshore saltwater, bays, and estuaries.

Donald Dehm So do you think it would be good on slower rivers with areas of maybe class 1 rapids?

@@zanejoplin124 yes, I think the SUP will perform fine, I have had it in those type of rivers.
But get some practice and get feel for the SUP on some still waters for a few trips before you take it down the river. You have got to learn your limitations as well as the SUPs.

Donald Dehm Thanks for the advice man. I see your comments a good bit, and you’re always super helpful! I’m just torn between an actual kayak or the SUP+. They’re both so versatile.

Absolutely, the DNA of this is more SUp board than kayak!

I wish this had dry storage, but it seems to be a nearly perfect design otherwise. And the price is right.
