The drama over the scent of these conditioners and night and day opinions was surreal... finally a review from the QUEEN!!! *bow* *bow* *bow* Mrs. Whippy bomb scent confirmed for Candy Rain!!! Yay. Mrs. Whippy was buchu, cocoa, tonka, and almond- same as the conditioner.
With Lush's recent creations in the last year or so, I can officially say they have me overwhelmed and beyond excited to try everything they have to offer! I'm even considering going to Liverpool, which would be a huge distance from me, for the first time just to see the new store 🙉 I can't resist the temptation to buy it all. I am especially happy to see Lush catering to afro/curly hair more 😊 That J's Mom's Okra looks so intriguing - glad to see it has a thick texture too.
I can't wait for these to come to Australia. I love American Cream, but I'd love to add others to my repertoire. I can't stand the smell of Veganese and the solid conditioners don't cut it!
I use Hair necessities and it is fantastic. I don’t need to use R&B when my hair is dry, that’s how smooth and not fizzy my hair is. The scent lingers even when I washed my hair few days later and used Retread. I still could smell Hair necessities in it. I also tried Aga’s conditioner. It is not as smoothing for my hair and the scent does not really linger. I also noticed that my lighter coloured hair ( I have never coloured my hair) were “standing up” more and were more visible when using Aga’s.I will use Aga’s for summer. Thank you for video!
Could you do a video on the new Lush lab perfumes before you receive them and after you receive them? I'm pretty sure you own hairdressers husband and V already could you describe what you think the perfumes will smell like and then what the actually do smell like if different than what you expected once you receive them. Thanks so much.
Hair necessities = The soft touch hand serum bar. After dozens of sniffs i'm convinced its the same perfume. In the forum days I used to beg for this to be a perfume. Was this B Never scent used for The Soft Touch? My Lushie experience only goes back to 2010.
I purchased Aga;s (AH-Gah's) like lady Gaga without the G. Aga is the name of the person at Lush who created it. I also purchased Hair Necessities. But now after watching your video I kind of wish I had got Candy Rain and/or Valkyrie too...
@@kimbingha710 Incorrect, Mrs. Whippy was originally Vanilla/Strawberry (Yummy Yummy Yummy scent) then Mrs. Whippy got reformulated and got its OWN scent during its life on the shelves; Buchu, cocoa, tonka, almond. This is the Candy Rain scent. It probably has the most authentic vanilla ice cream scent as there's no strawberry like the YYY and no lavender like the American Cream.
@@oceansoflorewi I did not have the chance to try Mrs Whippy bath bomb the last time it was offered on Lush Kitchen so I cannot compare it to Candy Rain, directly. However, there was a reply on lush instagram from a lush representative about the scent families of the new conditioners. From my personal experience i can only say that Candy Rain shares the same scent as Oat hand soap from the very first Lush Labs release. But, it is not uncommon for lush to change the scent family of their products, there are also slight differences between batches. I totally agree that it is mainly a wonderful grown up vanilla.
I keep wanting to try lush hair my bottle blonde just strips so much..wish I could trust one that does not strip my color out..any luck anyone with any of these???
I was on the verge of getting candy rain or hair necessities.. I know I would love the smell of candy rain more but does hair necessities really bind together split ends? 🤔 that sounds quite impossible to me
Rachael Carlisle that sounds like it may work! but anyways I’ve decided on candy rain. I read reviews that hair necessities smell like play dough so no thank you 😆😆
Your Voice is soo calming, I always enjoy listening (and obviously watching) to your videos! :) Lots of Love

Thanks for the review April, I may have to order some now. Wishing you a wonderful week ahead!
So far Candy Rain is the only one of 3 that I have that I can comb through easily . Happy Happy joy joy & American cream I couldn't comb through.
Thank you for reviewing all these! 🤗
I got the aga, candy rain and valkyrie and I love the plum rain and rose jam scent but I think the candy rain one is my favourite! Great video

Does the "vanilla milkshake" one smell like American Cream? Love your videos! 😍
Sandy Morton nah. But I bet the American Cream conditioner does
Lol
According to a reply on lush instagram it has the same scent as Mrs Whippy bath bomb which is a vanilla/strawberry ice cream combination.

No name
Most definitely impossible! But perhaps it prevents future ones or makes current ones appear less obvious.

Hair Necessities is B never to be busy to be beautiful family scent? It smells exactly like my Bnever shower gel.
Where can I buy these???
My hair necessities smells a lot like Salted Coconut hand scrub. It also is much more runny than your one.
mine too!
They all sound like I want to eat them . Lush WTF.
