Bobbi, I love all of the pretty tulip blossoms, they look so cheerful, especially the Foxy Foxtrot. Isn't it fun to see how curious the steers are, they really seem to enjoy watching and listening to the sound of your voice. My nephews discovered that their cattle will actually chase a remote control car, lol. Wow, nearly 100 videos, that's impressive! I have never made a single one, but I'm thankful that we get to enjoy yours. Have a wonderful weekend! ~Margie
Hi Margie! I do love the Foxy Foxtrot! As I was making an arrangement yesterday, I made a mental note to add more this fall hopefully! I have some that have come back for me in the landscape and I’m enjoying their beauty! And yes, bovine are very curious and sometimes playful! When I move mineral tubs around with my gator, several of them chase it! I’m a bit of a bovine nerd-I do love them and I’m blessed to have been working with them for about 12 years now after my in laws retired. I grew up with horses but it’s all cattle now! Blessings on your weekend too!
Your atulips are just stunning. I love tulips they are so bright and cheerful. Thank k you for sharing your Tulips with us. So until next time God Bless you and your family and have a Blessed evening and stay safe my dear friend. 🌷👍🌷
Thank you! So many more tulips have opened up since I did the tour 😃 but I wanted to show at least some before I started harvesting too many! The mountains are very beautiful surrounding our family farm, we enjoy them! 💚
I’ll be googling Foxy Foxtrot! 😁 And rats, I’m worried my potted Babycakes Blackberry didn’t like overwintering in the pole barn. 😫 Hope to see a ‘how to prune your babycakes blackberry’ here in the future. 👍🏻
Hey Lisa! Your baby cakes is probably fine! They do well in an unheated, protected area in zones 6 and lower. To prune, you would cut back second year canes after fruiting leaving all the new growth. It may fruit again for you in the fall. I would fertilize it when you see new growth coming on. I think I remember you being in a zone 5? Yours is probably a bit behind mine but keep in mind, mine was just purchased and it has been forced. I’m sure yours is fine! 😊 (And yes, I do love the Foxy Foxtrot!)
Can u help me I planted apeldroon tulips and hybrid Darwin tulips in the ground zone 5 New Hampshire.. ok So my question is can I plant daffodils in between them ? The daffodils I’m looking at is golden echo and dick wildren .. can u let me Know If I can plant them In between them If not what could I plant in between them ? Also do and I assume they do does apeldroon and hybrid Darwin tulips produce little bulbs rather than seeds right … how to I multiply them Or do they do them Themselves?
Hi there! Yes, you can definitely plant tulips and daffodils together. Keep in mind that it’s possible that your daffodils may start blooming a little earlier than the tulips. Your tulips will produce little bulblets and that’s how they multiply. Tulips do not always perennialize however the varieties you’ve planted are good ones for coming back. You should have a beautiful show in the Spring! Hope this helps 🌷
@@cassandrarudolph1307 since you just planted the bulbs recently, you won’t need to separate the bulbs for several years. As long as they continue to bloom for you, they are fine. It’s only when the bulbs get too crowded that they will bloom less.
What a lovely homestead.
Thanks so much and thanks for watching!

I think those bright colors are perfect since we’ve had such a cold, windy April. They are bright and cheery! 😊. And I love the audience 😁
Lol-that audience has been trying to eat my lilacs! But they are fun anyway 😅
