This is not a PCD song; it's a Nicole song. She wrote it and recorded it for her debut album Her Name Is Nicole but finally decided to release another PCD album and include it there. The same goes for Happily Never After, Halo, Hush Hush and some others.

is because robin the creator of the pussycat dolls wanted a lead singer thats y she pick nicole and from then on the record company wanted her to sing lead so it not nicole fault it robin and anm record blame them

But on most of the 'Doll Domination' singles and forward they didn't. It was practically the Nicole show... which is fine if they knew that from the beginning, just looks horrible to the fans, audience, girl group commentators

nicole may be the prettiest and lead singer but i don't think she is a great vocalist, her live vocals in "when i grow up" were not good. How can you call this a girl band when one person sings? they are just her back up singers and she NEEDS them, if ALL your bandmates walk out on you you know exactly where the problem is. also if she is soo good at singing why didn't she just focus on solo rather getting a brand new PCD line up "her secret back up dancer" there's leading and there's hogging
penoo14 Go see Nicole singing The Phantom of the Opera, Don't Cry For Me Argentina and so much more. She'll even sing in Spanish for you with one of the greatest Tenors in history. Nicole Scherzinger is the best live singer of the 21st Century.

@Toutostar a lot of the old pussycat doll members have also left and they have brought a couple of new girlss!!! but it will never be the same..but i saw a video on youtube that melody wants to make her own album
it absolutely annoys me when i watch this knowing thatthose girls can sing, they give em mics and tell em to dance, might as well not give em mics, and just admit they are nicoles back up dancers

Which in all actuality she shouldn't have bc she has NO success in the U.S. so far as a solo star. Yeah I am sure that there was somethign written in each of the girls parts about Nicole being the 1 who got 90% of ALL vocals, but still seems crazy. Like especially if you were on of these other girls and thought you coudl sing, Melody for instance. IDK...sad situation I think
I researched a lot about them after Nicole's Behind the Music segment... to be one of the top selling female groups of all time, they surely did have a lot of inside problems... I'm not saying I blame Nicole but I think she had a lot to do with it.
dude it bothers me more that she hogs the vocals for like...the whole song. haha but owell, i guess it goes to the better singer. but from their new cd, all the other members got pretty good voices too. so whatevs :/
