For the 1st and 2nd verse it shouldve been Nicole and Melody singing at least passing each other the singing parts in this song

Don't get me wrong, Nicole is my girl, but Melody has a good voice as well and they should have let all the ladies take turns on the songs

I researched a lot about them after Nicole's Behind the Music segment... to be one of the top selling female groups of all time, they surely did have a lot of inside problems... I'm not saying I blame Nicole but I think she had a lot to do with it.

@fanofspirit She probably was the best vocalist... OR strongest... but it would have been nice if at least the girls got to sing the choruses in PCD songs! But on most of the 'Doll Domination' singles and forward they didn't. It was practically the Nicole show... which is fine if they knew that from the beginning, just looks horrible to the fans, audience, girl group commentators

@animefan56937 What are you talking about? She has officially parted ways with Robin Antin and the PCDs. Which in all actuality she shouldn't have bc she has NO success in the U.S. so far as a solo star. Yeah I am sure that there was somethign written in each of the girls parts about Nicole being the 1 who got 90% of ALL vocals, but still seems crazy. Like especially if you were on of these other girls and thought you coudl sing, Melody for instance. IDK...sad situation I think

@13821080 LMFAO, ain't that so! And how sad was that. Liek they seriously looked like her back up dancers, ALL the way through, and 5% of the time her backup singers. Not to mention I seriously think their harmonies could have made the song sound better live, especially throguh transitions from verse to chorus and such

and THIS is why nicole is better solo! she WAS pcd shes a killer vocalist, shes charming, funny, beautiful...basically SHE's a star :)

@Toutostar a lot of the old pussycat doll members have also left and they have brought a couple of new girlss!!! but it will never be the same..but i saw a video on youtube that melody wants to make her own album

nicole may be the prettiest and lead singer but i don't think she is a great vocalist, her live vocals in "when i grow up" were not good. How can you call this a girl band when one person sings? they are just her back up singers and she NEEDS them, if ALL your bandmates walk out on you you know exactly where the problem is. also if she is soo good at singing why didn't she just focus on solo rather getting a brand new PCD line up "her secret back up dancer" there's leading and there's hogging

is because robin the creator of the pussycat dolls wanted a lead singer thats y she pick nicole and from then on the record company wanted her to sing lead so it not nicole fault it robin and anm record blame them
