Masala dishes are the best. Enjoyed the 2 blokes near the beginning arguing about the dish, and the one asks his pal, "What's wrong with you??" Thanks for the video, Chef!
I love watching these vids. Although there is so much going on it's relaxing. How can he do so many different recipies without book? Years and years of experience is my guess. Anyway, love watching and learning.
I love a good Masala, heck i love everything MrT makes and that garlic trick, so much better then peeling cloves of garlic separately. Keep up the great work! Love from Texas!
Afternoon Tibor!!! I just finished a breakfast of eggs over easy, salmon patties, fresh sliced strawberries with a dollop of whipped cream a chocolate croissant and freshly brewed drip coffee... I turn on your channel....(55" screen) and what do I see....?????? The most gorgeous pink perfectly sliced roast beef on the man bread... and now... I'M STARVING AGAIN FOR THAT ROAST BEEF!!! LOL... You cook sooo good!! I'm so jealous that your customers are so lucky to have you over the pond!! Best wishes, Gladys
Would be interesting to see a customer comment on MrT and his staffs food and coffee service. If I worked for DHL it would be a part of the day I looked forward to 🍳🌯
Alright mate can I get the curry and naan please? Yeah with some beef that would be great thanks. Yeah eat in. Can I have a few bits of extra chillie if you don't mind? Awesome no that's all cheers mate ta ra.
I have purchased pre made garlic naan at the grocery store. Seems to get mold fairly quickly, even sealed. Refrigerate or not ? Looks awesome as always!!!
My son is learning guitar and Crazy Train is one I have heard so much. Here I was thinking I could relax and escape it for a bit but then MrT starts singing and humming it lol
I don't think I've ever had Naan, but it looks delicious. Like a fat pita. The rest looks amazing as well. What's the sauce at the end? I'm not familiar with British sauces.
I've never thought of the combination of singing Spongebob Squarepants to the tune of Italian folk music (to me, it sounds like that he's singing it to "tarantella napoletana") 😂
Been watching your videos for a while, when i'm eating my foods, makes it more tasty but, 25:25 i never heard swearing in my native language in other uploads, what a shocking plot twist..
Hey MrT, I get you’re trying something different, but there are a few things you should know about making proper naan and aloo masala! First off, when you're making naan, don’t forget the jeera (cumin) and ajwain (carom seeds). These are the key spices that really bring the flavor to the dough. And if you want to take it up a notch, throw in some kalonji (nigella seeds) too. It gives the naan that perfect, slightly nutty taste. Now, about that sweet potato in the aloo masala... it’s just not right. Sweet potatoes are way too sweet and they mess with the flavor. Stick to regular potatoes - they’re what you want for that classic aloo masala taste. Maybe add some peas if you like, but they’re not necessary. The magic comes from the spices - ginger, green chilies, cumin, coriander, turmeric, and a bit of garam masala. Don’t forget a squeeze of lemon to balance it out! Chickpeas can be a nice touch in some cases, but they’re not traditional for aloo masala. And about adding meat with the naan... nah, that’s not how it’s done. Naan is best as a side dish or with something like chicken tikka or lamb kebabs. So, my advice: ditch the sweet potato, stick to the spices, and keep it simple. With those small tweaks, your naan and aloo masala will be way more authentic and taste much better! Cheers, A fellow food lover who’s all about the classics!
@ Experimenting is fine, but it’s also important to acknowledge the roots of a dish. If you’re going to stray so far from tradition, it might be worth calling it something else entirely! Otherwise, people might miss out on experiencing the authentic flavors these dishes are supposed to offer. Food is all about balance - both in flavor and in respect for where it comes from! I’m not here to hate, just trying to help chef make a better naan and aloo masala. Oh, and tbh, naan isn’t even the ideal partner for aloo masala. Naan deserves butter paneer/chicken, or anything with a nice, rich gravy to soak up. Just saying.
Mr T is my dad.
Prove it 😊

You're critiquing something that clearly was a big hit for his customers. Sometimes you need to experiment with food.
