+avlisk 700mm. Only this short section survives of what was a vast field network, with only three of the eighteen locomotives that worked here until the 1980's remain. The rest have been scrapped
Amazing Video. Very cool steam traffic there. Well filmed and edited. Is known, what they are using to fire those locomotives? Coal, wood or the remains of the sugar production? Thumbs up and greetings! Mega :)
Thanks. They are using bagasse - "the remains of sugar production". But maybe no more. There was a report that steam had ended but the link to it has gone down.
Last boiler inspection probably 1960
Oh, dear! Yet another fascinating prototype to model. What gauge is it?
PS If you like this, check out the railway videos from Eritrea.

+Even Further Rail Well, I visited there 2 weeks back and (thankfully) not a lot have changed.
Good. Hopefully that's why this post has gone missing www.internationalsteam.co.uk/internat.htm
Rob probably edited the page, which is good, which means that he knew that made the wron information and he corrected it. :)
The free Runners trailers are funny ... hopefully no one had to be suffers ...
I can think of worse places to work.
