- in todays video the demo tractor has arrived a 2004 jcb fastrac 3220 from russel fastraxx, they give us a tour of the tractor inside and out before we attach the harrow and head for some ploughed ground to give her a go. there was a bit of setting up to do to get everything right but when we did the fastrac flew across the field.

@@pauldoc567 yea Lempken good Irish brand we use one Plough that isn't Lempken because it Literally change our operations as in 1/2 maintenance cost per season so our yard looks Lempken dealership because it's all Lempken cultivation kit and potatoe kit

A fine tractor and in great condition for its age.❤ If i was father Phil i wouldnt be too happy at how fast yous were driving it in the field, 🤣 Yous could have easily wrote the Lemkin off, if it caught the wrong stone. There definitely would have been a fast exit for the fastrac & its drivers.🤣🤣🤣

Enjoyed that Phil. Smart looking tractor. We always think a fastrac is a road hauler but probably a great idea for such as those harrows where u need to keep the forward speed up to get the results
So after all the testing Phil, your Conclusion is, great tractor, you wouldn't spill your tea, that's fair, i'll give you that!
Got a speeding ticket in 1 of them with a 5frw kv reversible mounted plough on. Cop tried calling it a truck even with ag rego and was alot of those issue's when they came out here. If only that model had 4 wheel steer! Unfortunately they haven't really taken off here. Crew I drove for had 1 and when the genesis 280 went down with a broken front drive shaft we put the 2t sumo box on front and 8 leg, 3m ripper on a 4220 and she did the job well on winter grazing kale land. Want to try the gen 6 4220 with quicke loader on against what I'm use to running loader wise which is a 536-70 loadall jcb and the mighty massey 7718s

My dad drove a 3220 in 04 from new for 4 year and done over 65k km and loved it and l travelled my a day with him and we both loved it

I guess the road speed is the main reason you see a few contractors and farm haulage using fastrac quite often
Ah Phil you’ve got the fastrac bug now,, that will speed up your productivity out on the field , excellent choice tractor 🚜 if you decide to buy 👍

Great video. Thats quite the tractor. Definitely goes fast on the road. Its great you have it to test out. Its nice to have the newest one going to get an idea of how it works on your farm. I own a 3220 and great tractor! Mine has a module that plugs into the fuel pump and adds 50hp really makes the machine come alive. Nothing compares

yeah he was a little bit nervous , this would have been rough going at 10km/hr on any other tractor. He was also a wee bit afraid that Uncle Ian or Father Phil would hit the roof with the speed of it across the field wrecking the good Lemken

We used to have a fast track, there fast until you hit a hill and then it's slower than the normal yoke and it was for ever going wrong, lovely to drive tho

Used to run 2x 155-65 in 🇬🇧 20 yrs ago and they where a brilliant bit o kit.
I thought it was a fastrac by the thumbnail. But I looked like an older one, and I didn’t think they would demo and older model!

Great video Phil drove a fastrac for a while it was a 8250 to be fair it wasn’t a great tractor it had the Fendt vario box in it had a habit of knocking it self back to 40 km and wouldn’t cross over it again poxy yoke it had the gearbox replaced on warranty it and its sister the 3 series are a good tractor you going to buy

Treat it like a lorry and it will do you well if you buy it that is😉 they do need service/grease more often than the fergies 😁. But your back will thank you. Great on the balers to you just need a set of binoculars with you to see the pickup 😉🤔😂. Great engine in them. 👍

I know you guys in Ireland don’t have 3/4 tonne dodge pickup trucks but the 5.9 Cummins is literally bulletproof. Pre def relatively cheap to fix. ✌️🇨🇦 cheers
