- in this video we take a look at the state of our workshop and some of what's in there, its nothing short of a disgrace but look it as my girlfriend said acceptance is the pathway to solving it hahaha. we also take a look at a light bar the guys from auto tech LED sent out to me a very impressive light it is and i also give some shoutouts to some other farming youtube channels well worth checking out

Hi Phil.
I agree with your dad regarding the workshop. Put in a mezzanine floor in the Last bay. You will be shocked how much storage it will produce. Couple of hard days and you will knock that shed into shape.
Everyone has one of them type of sheds if they'd only admit it 😂
Don’t mind your father just get started yourself and go bit by bit if your to wait for him it will never be done

The state of that workshop is really getting to you , best to just crack on and get it sorted.
OMG this was hilarious, I'm glad you left the naughty words in, so funny. My dad's farm had sheds just like this. Something would get taken apart or dumped in a corner and it would sit there for another 20 years. Good to see how it's changed though and you finally sorted out the tractor.

Your not the only one with a shed like this, I tried cleaning one of the sheds a few years ago and was fecking stuff out the front door and the father was bringing it back in the back door, the father keeps everything even if it’s a part that’s fecked, his saying is it mite be handy for something. I’ve just gave up 🥴

Hi Phil all us farmers over here are the same. I did try keep everyone one out the farm work shop but never happen. If I was well anuf I would come over sort your tractors out for you but rest off the stuff you would have to do your self. L.o.l from Andy in UK

I know the feeling...take it from me... My old man had trucks and digger and had a workshop just like yours...just about had a route to bench with vise through all the crsp..... Don't think about it just get a skip and tear into it someday...

Holy crap I thought my workshop was bad🤣 but to be fair in the past my workshop got so full up with crap and bits of landrovers that I just ended up doing all the work outside the workshop because I couldn't get in the doors😂

Having a loft for oils tools parts is a good idea as a start. Good luck it's a problem for everyone to keep their sheds tidy and organised.

Fair play Phil. Look we all have sheds like that. No point beating yourself up about it. Hard to keep all sides going.
But as they say, "How do you eat an elephant?" Answer: one bite at a time . Start filling a grain trailer and bring to Hammond lane. Get a few pound for it. All used oil filters and waste oil can be recycled too.
One square foot at a time. Keep looking at what you've done and not what's left.
I wouldn't go with loft idea as sure as hell harvester or combine will need to be ripped and youd need head room.
Do it now before Christmas as you'll be too busy after that!😉

We had a tractor out of action for a few years that wouldn’t drive. Was loose fuse holder.

I know how ya feel with machines being broke down. At me cousins he has a international 484 that's sat outside for for near 6 year now all because it lost high and to be honest he's just to lazy to fix it and with his 3080 he just gets cheap parts to just keep it going instead of fixing it right then his small workshop is filled with shite. I know there's more than just me cousin that's like that.

as you can probably guess great, my uncle is not well and that has left just 2 of us in the yard so we are very busy and dont get as much time as we would like to catch up on winter jobs

Bring in the big loader bucket and throw all the rubbish and shit you wont ever need again into it and burn it first. It's easy sort the parts and good stuff then

Small steps lad, chuck the shite first, be ruthless!
Start by hauling all of the rubbish out. Then pile up all the junk metal outside and when you are done, haul it out or have someone haul it for you and share the junk money with them. Then, take a deep breath and see what is the next step. Slow and easy and it will get done !

haha no nothing has been done in the shed as my uncle spent the winter in hospital and left me and my father with no time to get that job done

That shead will have to be cleared out before building the loft
my advice do not build a loft I have two off them a serious haven for storing shit the stuff not need fuck it out or done deal
And that 6290 get it going and put it on done deal it will brake your heart the oil seals will have gone hard. Cleaning out that shead will make grate video everyone loves a good noise in other people's shit.
Phil would it cost much to get back going and will you be getting it back going ?

i cant remember how much we gave for it we have it a long time used to be on a different tractor, all i can tell you tho is dont bother going to dromone themselves they will charge you more than a dealership will
