For the final rounds after stuffing, would it work to squish a small square of similar-coloured fabric in, on top of the stuffing, to keep the poly-fil tamed while you close?
I’m confused on the web site it says you used a 6.5mm hook but in the video you use a size L or 8mm hook and in the pdf you use an 8mm hook which should I use
Loved rhis pattern. Just finished my pouf tonight. It will be the footstool to put in my son's nursery for while I nurse him. One note is that I did need more than 2 skeins to complete the project but not too far off... I love this yarn, so it wasnt a big deal to have extra 😊

Question. Your link says 6.5 mm k hook. The downloaded pattern says 8mm L hook. Which one is it?
