  • Hey guys! I'm so thrilled to be sharing this video with you! Teresa at DeBrosse and Sarah at Mama Knows Luxury contacted me and asked if I'd be interested in making a video tutorial showing how to make Teresa's gorgeous Petionville Pouf design. It took me about half a second to agree-I mean, look at how gorgeous this piece is! Sarah is my friend and my supplier for giant yarn, and I've been a huge fan of Teresa's gorgeous work for a long time (and she's now a friend!), so getting to do a collaboration with both of these ladies was such a treat.
About this project - I was a little intimidated at first, because I'd never made anything like this before, and it looked tricky! Turns out, once I wrapped my mind around it, it was SO fast, and SO easy! (always a great scenario-haha!;) ) I hope this video is helpful and fun to watch! As always, feel free to drop a comment below if you need further help. And if you make your own Petionville Pouf, I'd LOVE it if you tagged me in your Instagram photo of your project!
As always, thanks so much for watching! So glad you found our little community.
    Happy knitting!
    Anja

I think using a different color fabric for the inside would be a cool pop of color! I can’t wait to try this

Very cute! Could you put the fabric liner inside before the pillows so it's easier to get in place?

I put the material in as a "liner" then added the pillow inserts and then the fiberfill.

Hi Ashley, Were you able to find a place that sells the yarn cheap? I am also only finding it for 70-90 dollars.

I would like to make out of less expensive yarn also for child.
I will try doubling the stitches since the yarn I have is about 1 in. Wide??

Can u make a video explaining how to adjust patterns or make ur own patterns for example I only have size 4 yarn and size 7 long circular needles I'm trying to make a hat but all the videos I'm finding are using different sizes so I don't know how much I should cast on to make a similar hat with what I have

    THAT. IS. ROVING. NOT. YARN.
Unless they have some kind of net around it, that will FALL APART and felt and be worthless. Plus it is such a waste of beautiful, expensive fiber.

I'm pretty sure it is cheaper to buy a ottoman/puff than it is to buy the jumbo yarn to make one. The yarn you use is VERY expensive.

I bought off Amazon it’s not wool. Pills bad some of them but makes ok if you can deal with shedding.
Can’t felt them because their not wool. Half the price means half the quality unfortunately.
