Thanks again MJ..lovely… I did change the decrease process to eliminate wholes after round 30 used TOG instead…Beautiful and heavy in the wool ease I used…Thanks so much for your instructions and ideas….. my grandson is going to love this!!!!
I haven't crocheted for 20 years, I was looking for an easy to follow tutorial, this was one beautiful pattern. I did use tee shirt yarn though so it would be stronger, and it turned out half the size of yours, but still a usable strong little pouffe, I love it. Thankyou. Now on to the next.
I am so happy! This pouf looks lovely in my living room. I am new at crocheting and your tutorial was so clear to follow. I've tried to follow other tutorials to learn to make the magic ring without success. I was so happy when I started this video as my magic ring was a success and it motivated me to continue with this project. Thank you so much!
I made a floor pouf and I love it. Your tutorial helped me get through the pattern. I made it up in a week or so. Whenever I had time too sit and work on it I did. I have a picture of it not sure how to post it so everyone to see.
Thank you so much for this pattern and tutorial. I just finished one using Bernat Softee Chunky and it turned out great, but probably a little “holier “ since I didn’t use the recommended yarn. But still super cute. Thanks again!
I love it. I think this would make a great hat pattern too, but I'm new to crochet and would have no idea how to make it into a hat pattern lol. Thank you for explaining how to do your patterns so easily.
Great video, explanations are very clear. My only complaint is that I am short of yarn! Someone else experienced that also? Ordered 12 balls of starlette chunky yarn and I’m missing at least 1-2 to finish. Went ou5of yarn on my first round of diminution...☹️
Just came across your channel tonight. You are talented. I am going to attempt to do this. I would love to learn how to change the colors. Thank you very much for posting.
I am making this floor poof and have seamed my pillowcases for the insert - my question is did you make the insert smaller in any way ? Like round the corners at the bottom - or make it shorter ? Seems to be way too big 🧐🧐🧐 could you advise please ?
Do you have a pattern or any suggestions on how to make a bigger version of this? UPDATE 01/05/2021: I didn't receive an answer on this before starting it so I figured it out on my own. Thanks anyway.
Hello may I ask how you increased the size of the circle after 120 stitches? Mine keeps ruffling and not staying flat so I’m clearly adding to many stitches. Im just not to sure what to do after round 9 to go bigger. Thanks.
Hi. I’m working on this now. Mine seems to be curving so it looks like the pattern will be on the inside and not the outside. Do I ultimately “flip” it around or did I do something obvious wrong? Thanks so much!!
So - as I started up the sides I realized my woundinglanding up was backwards - the inside was on the outside. I am lefthanded!s How do 9 make this correct ... It is such a beautiful patterns have spent many hours on it. Please advise 😢 O
I keep ending up with 90 in round 7?? Tore it out and repeated, though there were 60 prior on round 6. I can’t find my mistake….can anyone advise/help me out here? THANKS IN ADVANCE ❤BTW… MJ .. LOVE your instructions..round # n count at each step of the way…YOU ARE A GREAT INSTRUCTOR!!!! 🎉❤
Hello, sorry if I’m too stupid, but could you please tell me what yarn thickness is possible to use for this pouf? I’m going to use cotton rope, but I’m not sure if 5 or 6 mm thikness would be ok 😬 thank you!
You didn’t included the size hook you used ? Love the idea. I’m just gonna use up some worsted weight yarn that I have and make it a collage looking bean bag pouf. Thanks for the video.
Please tell me how should I increase further, as I work with thinner yarn and want my poof to be bigger? When I followed the pattern my work started to be all wobbly at the ends, I suppose it's happening because of adding to much stitches...
I think you’d have to carry the color through the whole project since it is not FP DC stitches across an entire row. It’d probably be a bit annoying but I’m sure it’d look very nice!
Hello Im a beginner in this and it's the 4th time I started all over again after row 4. I never seem to get the exact amount of stictches. In row 3 I always get 32 and in row 4 I end up with 38 instead of 40. After 4 attempts I don't know how to solve this problem. Will it be a problem if I continue anyway with 38 stitches instead of 40 in row 4?Thank you!
I’m making this now & have had to purchase 3 more skeins. It looks good, easy to make, I’m going to give it as a gift; but no clue how you made it with only 12 skeins. I’m hoping the 15 I have now will complete the project. I’d appreciate any advice.
@@mjsoffthehookYes. Gauge & yarn is the same. Yarn has an elasticity to it, so my gauge may have gone off because I’m hoping to use the elasticity to my advantage when filling the pouf.
Hi. I have just started following the pattern. And in round 2 I end up with 19 st, I have 10 posts. But I am unable to get 20 sts when I do a slip st, they end up total 19. What am I doing wrong?
Wanted to use scrap yarn for this project. I’m using three strands of worsted weight bc I didn’t have super bulky. I followed the tutorial for the base rows and increases but once I got to the repeat round with no more increases for the sides my pouf wasn’t curling into a bowl shape it’s got more of a wave happening on the edges. Can’t figure out where I went wrong. Should I frog and restart of do you think it will start to curl the more I work the sides as I’m only three side rows in ?
I've wanted to make a pouf. I don't really need one, just wanted to make one. Your instructions are excellent. Thank you.
Me too😊 I am on row 5, so there is plenty of time for me to get confused🙄😞

Finally someone who knows to tension their thread as they work. It sure makes a difference. Great video thanks.
I tried it with two strands of aran, it worked, thank you.
Works up beautifully with Bernat blanket yarn! Great tutorial!
How many skeins?
@@AmieDeLalla I THINK I did 3 or 4 skeins.

Glad it helped!
Did you use the same yarn that she did and if so how many did you use? :)
Thank you for sharing this beautiful project 🎉❤🎉

I used the same yarm and noticed it had larger holes too but I love it anyway. :)
Thank you!. I'm new to crocheting and this was easy to understand and follow.
I'm definitely going to make this. Your tutorial was very clear. Thank you.
Wonderful!
I love the look of this and can’t wait to make one 🤗

Omg this is so exiting to crochet so thanks for taking such care in showing us every step of the way.

Worked out great. Thanks for the tutorial👍🏻

Very nice i must make it.i like very much. Thanks lot❤❤
Wow so Thanh you for showing how to do ottoman crochet 🙏🏻🥰
Do you have a tutorial for the thumb join for switching yarn? That was brilliant.
I wasn't paying enough attention to the bulky gauge on my yarn I purchased. It wasn't thick enough but I made it work by adding more rows.
I want to try this! I have some bulky yarn I need to use up.
I engoyed it very much ...😍👌
Thank you alot🤩💙🌼👏👏
Love this tutorial! I'm at the point where I start filling it but I'm not sure how much beanbag fill to use? TIA!
Fantastic Job
Thanks!
Can see a Christmas present coming on for a friend . Thanks for a very clear tutorial. Xxx

So I am thinking of making one for my daughter’s dorm room. Will this hold up to being sat on😂??
I love your work .
Lovely! But, how can you wash it?
Is there a way to increase size? Would I just add more increasing rows? If I do would I need to add more rows to the body
If you mention the size of the circle after stopping the increase it will be good
Do you have a pattern or any suggestions on how to make a bigger version of this?

Hwy lovely pattern. I wanna ask does something change if i am left handed ?
@the_dead_kunoichi Perhaps you can find some help on Ravelry. I know there's a group there for left-handed knitters/crocheters

Hi, what size is this please and if I was too make it bigger how do I do it please??
Can u make one with thick yarn bc I use thick yarn
What should i do if i want it bigger?
I did the math, and it will take about 720 yards of yarn, if anyone's wondering.
Looks great so far but having a really hard time with the pattern

If I want the poof bigger how would I do that?
