I really like the plain beautiful look of 70 cuda, if I ever get another Chrysler, I would be looking for one of these with a plain hood, no decals, just a plain Jane……
Dave's asking a question about the shaker hood Dome colors on different cars I've seen black I've seen Argent and some I've seen body colored to the external body is there a method to the madness thank you very much
That trunk spatter paint is a GM thing. The paint is water based so it shouldn't be too hard to remove it. It was supposed to be topcoated with a clear after sprayed. (Not many did.) It was an '80's quick trunk detail used on many cars. Not irreversible.
Ain't that the truth. I'd get some spray paint going on the rust in the trunk, and the wiring is rubbing sharp edges. Power steering would be next on my list of things to do.
A very good number of Hemi and 440-6 cars don't have their original engines any longer. This is due to the nature of how they were used or abused being high performance cars and a great deal had optional axle ratio's off 3.55-4.10 which contributed to the higher revs, especially with those short factory tires F60 or G60-15's or even worse the 14 inchers. If you got a Super Track Pack car, pretty much forget about the original engine.
Good points Vince. Another factor is that these engines needed hardened valve seats to cope with the unleaded fuel soon to be released. These engines really didn't survive the cutover. They began to run crappy and they fell into disrepair and were junked. Like everybody else, I admire the old performance cars but they really are unpractical compared to modern machinery. My 2023 Mustang GT 6-speed is quite a bit faster than the fabled Boss 429 Mustang of the era.@@vincemajestyk9497
So many musclecars did back then, look at how new musclecars today are driven Bet there are more #s cars than were ever built. Never got the fascination with that. Had some and they drove no different than a reaplacement motor, potential buyers could care less they still nitpicked them hoping to steal it.
At last I found my missing cuda thanks for showing videos

It IS a very nice car! I'd get rid of those Cooper tires. Those are the last tires I'd use on a car like that.

I got a feeling that the original engine must've blown up
But should He have keep the Blown Engine ??

It would be great if all Original , But still VERY SWEAT !!
ALmost impossible due to age and the way they were treated.
Todays musclecars are a good example. Modded driven pretty hard.
