I quit drinking any forms of caffeine and I felt more awake and refreshed after a few weeks. It’s tough getting through the headaches and withdrawals but it’s worth it.

The taste of original monster is incredibly strong, with a flavor more akin to cough syrup than soda, but it’s definitely an acquired taste. You really do enjoy it the more you have

Story time!
So when i was 13, I went over to a friends house for a gaming night where we would stay up all night on our computers. Well his older brother had friends there and one of them brought 8 cases of monster. Thats 16 cans per case. Well me being a total newb, didn't know what an energy drink was. So I try my first monster "soda" and it was good. So over the next hour, i had 9 of them.... And around 4am the next day my brother who was there looked over from his computer and said i looked like death. I gave my computer up and just layed down on the couch feeling like I was about to die. My brother ask for some aspirin for me. I popped a hand full (4 or 5) and pass out from the pain. I wake up at 4pm not knowing what happend. That was the the first and last time i had monster. And that ladies and gents is how i almost died.

Cosign. The others have a more immediate caffeine hit, while the white one is more subtle to start with but longer lasting. The first time I drank a can of it, it was 5:30pm and I was still wide awake at 2am the following morning.
I'm assuming he was referring to the Ultra White one, which is pretty good. They have about seven other generic white can ones of Dragonfruit and various Dragon Teas and they all either taste like ass or taste like ass that has been drug across more ass.

My insurance company won't cover ADHD meds so my therapist suggested coffee as at some point the caffeine will have the same effect as the meds they give.
