The GSF is the best performance Japanese sedan on the market. Nth else from any other Japanese brand comes close. Bravo Lexus. This car is damn near perfect.
The M56S (Q70S) did offer a better interior than this. And performance wise was very close to this GSF. A shame Nissan didn't push the envelope a bit further, the VK56VD had a lot of potential.
Good video Steve. I spent 12 years in the German mosh pit from 760 to m 5 to z8 love them all however spent way to much time iand money in the service Bay. I've waited a long time for Lexus to step up to a performance line . already sold on thier reliability for that I've owned Lexus product as well . gave a fiend of mined my 99 gs 400 that currently has just south of 400k miles and is her everyday driver still. I passed on the RCF and went for the GSF. this model serves all my senses very well and without the embarrassing service visits (. turbos are for the weak ) my molten pearl GSF is a Swiss time piece for the road under every condition. All GM and german cars smell and run well . however I can't say that after 40k ish . Lexus GSF is the safest and all round performance machine I've ever owned.....
Exotic Nation Or a GT350R. A used, low miles Mustang is still about half the price. Or go nuts by supercharging a GT to 700+ hp by Roush or Hennessey. Anyway, be sure to test drive a bunch to be sure, and good luck.
Dig the car, but still $10k over priced. A great sports sedan buy at $75k. Something you will ignore at $85-90k. The competition all pack another 100 HP and even more torque
The GS F undercuts the natural rival Cadillac CTS-V by around 5 grand. BMW M5 is usually $105k and try finding any mid-sized AMG model Mercedes under $100k.
The CTS-V crushes the Lexus in its hand, and does it with an adjustable suspension that works well. The Caddy is a bargain. It destroys the Lexus as a sports sedan, and really does the same to the Germans. Nothing you said changes the fact that the Lexus should be under $80k, loaded. The Caddy is worth $100k, but is value-priced
Buy an off-lease used certified model. The are hovering in the low 60s for a one-year old model. Lexus quality with that normally aspirated V8 will last you a long time.
+TestDriveNow.com featuring Auto Critic Steve Hammes no need , those who catch it will most likely understanding and those who don't won't know the difference ! Great review otherwise :)
Emeka Iheanacho yes, people are all talk on the Internet and don't recognize that even 400 HP cannot be fully utilized on the street unless you are cool with potentially getting into trouble or even losing control of your car and landing on the next fail YT vid :s
The markup on S209s brought them to $110-115k. There’s no other STI that’s “barely” slower than a GSF. There’s no STI that’s keeping up with the top end on a GSF.

just bought one...….wow !
@Crow Killer We don't drive on a racetrack.
Crow Killer have your wallet ready, cause you’ll pay through your ass to keep that car running

@@philhenderson3516 no. Not even close to being next to a GSF lol

I'm with 'ya!
Look forward to every video you post
Really appreciate that!
i love those stacked exhaust plus that great sounding V8, its miles better than anything Infiniti or Lincoln offers.
Hi again :)
Hariz Nurhakim lol hey
Great review. I love the gs models. You've done this car justice.
Been waiting for this Steve!😆 Great review as usual. Keep it up and always looking forward to your next.
Best car from Japan! Forget BMW, AUDI, MERCEDES or CADILLAC they may have more power but they won’t last more than 8 years
i love this car soo much
Beautiful.
Drop in the V-10 from the LFA! Please Lexus!
Great review as always
Currently waiting on the delivery of this. ;) Also, I think Chris has that same shirt.
I do have that shirt.
And wear it better than I, no doubt.
I can confirm that I am not. I am simply driving this car after Steve.
The driver that picks it up from Steve's house then brings it to me to review for a week.
Sweet! What automotive media outlet do you write for? My review will go up on my site www.limitedslipblog.com :)
Nice review
At 6:46, you have a song clip of "oooh, baby I love your way". Should I trade in my 2015 Mustang GT Premium for this or the RC F coupe?
Yes!
Twice the price for similar performance? Nah.
Do it!
dude you can get a used lexus rcf for like 60k. so much nicer too. looking at one for my first car :)

0:58 "Gee Eff Ess"
Whoops! My bad.
:57 - the GF S :D
My dyslexic moment :-)
If I had $87,000 blowing a hole in my wallet, I would buy a CTS-V.
Can't go wrong either way.
Damn it.... another 120 HP and about 200 torque more would make me wanna run to Lexus and say, "here!!!!! take my money and give me one in black!"
+mikealanzo get the GS F and put a supercharger? You know Toyota/Lexus won't come out with powertrains that will hurt their quality image..
mikealanzo what do u need all that speed for...I drove this recently and it's just right... I don't need power that overwhelmes me....

Hakeem Kazak exactly

Too much money for barely being faster than a Subaru STI is.
