I was so excited that I saw another one. we have bad weather right now, but just watching it was helpful thank you can't wait tell I can get out and walk
Alice. I've written before. Have you ever heard of anyone going through a tinnitus cycle. Yesterday I woke up and hardly heard the tinnitus. Then at 3am every morning is changes. Today it's awful high pitched sound that leaves me almost unable to do anything, but wish for the evening to come so I can go to sleep. Next day isn't is bad, but not great. And then it starts all over again, with one good day out of every three. I've tried CBT from a tinnitus company in England, but it didn't work for me at all. Now I'm in the middle of a mediation course for tinnitus called MBTSR. So far I've just noticed a small difference. Just wondering if other people have a cycle. I think most people it is the same everyday. Thanks for your videos. They do help. Mark.
Thank you for sharing! I haven't thought about tinnitus coming in cycles, however, it is an interesting thought! I don't feel like mine has had a strong pattern as for a long time it was the same volume and tone and it was 24/7. It changed over time of course! It is good that you have noticed even a small difference more recently. Keep going! :)
@@alicemoyle In the beginning it was constant. I don't remember when it changed. In a way it's actually harder, because you have two days that it's hardly there and then the 3rd day is awful. It's been going on like this for about 6 months. I'm really working on the mediation and hoping I can get everyday to be quiet. Thanks for your videos. Most people don't have any idea what you are going through and they just think your nuts. I hear people tell me "just get over it". If I only have a switch to turn it off I would.
Mine is also on a 3 day cycle. Bad, mild, good day. Changes in sleep. Some cycles I get maybe 2 or 3 mild or good days but never more and cycle restarts. No hearing loss and doctors cant find anything wrong. What a weird condition.
Yesterday I just noticed a shift on my bad day. I've been using the MBTSR program from Dr. Gans. It's a 8 week meditation program. Check it out, works for most people. @@rusky325i
I could hear tinnitus whilst walking for a long time, however, I don't really experience that now. It takes time to get to that place! You can get there.
@alicemoyle Do you sleep with sound on and do you find tinnitus is at its loudest when you first wake?. I don't know how you have managed to habituate as its just so hard to stop being frightened of it 😢.
Thanks for your content Alice. I appreciate your effort with this channel.
Brilliant Alice. Such a lovely thing to do.
Thank you❤
You are more than welcome! :)

@@rusky325iMines used to be like that but now it's all bad with the odd accessional good day.
Great idea 👍
Not really meditation but it's good to walk. It does help the mind and body
Are you in Germany ?
Do you not hear tinnitus when walking? I love walking but the tinnitus spoils the tranquility of it.

@alicemoyle I love walking and it really spoils it. I so hope I can get to the stage you are at.
