how hard is it to put the chrome Corvette logo on the C7 seat that you get with the 2LT and 3LT? I have a 1LT grand sport and the seat looks kind plain without it
+Digital Car Addict It's really not that difficult. If you would like to speak directly with Eric about the process he uses feel free to email him at ericp@leatherseats.com
Great work and the end results looks fantastic. I want to try some of these steps myself and noticed you use a hot air gun to remove the plastic welds, and a welding iron to build them back up. I don't have either tool and will need to purchase them. Can I get away with just using the welding iron to remove the welds or is the hot air tool necessary as well. Thanks and again, great work on both the video and the product.
Real men know how to sew. My whole world just got flipped on its head. 😐“What did you do this weekend?” 😎“Oh you know. Rebuilt an engine, killed a bear with my hands oh and I sewed some badass door panels.” 😲
Wow!! Great work, as always. The work you did here makes the work you did on my C7 Corvette dash and door panel look like a walk in the park!! I still get a lot of complements and send folks your way. I hope they've been buying!! Tom S.
+Thomas Schneider Thanks Tom! We actually just sent out some pics of your trim pieces the other day to an interested customer! We appreciate your referrals!
Chris David Thanks! For heavy duty applications like this we typically recommend using a Landau Top and Trim adhesive like this one: www.amazon.com/Dap-Weldwood-Contact-Adhesive-Solvent/dp/B004IH3HAQ If you have any questions feel free to email us at sales@leatherseats.com or give us a call at 1-866-639-7328.
Very elaborate work ... and she does it with love and passion. The explanation is very interesting. ..You are an artist ... I really like this field, I hope to specialize in this field😍👍🚘🏅
Wow amazing job ! I was wondering at 7.18 we can see the padding you added to the leather. What kind of padding is it ? It looks like neoprene closed cell foam.
Awesome work! I have a 2016 2SS so it already has a lot of leather on the panels. I would still like to have some of the pieces reworked though with different color combos/materials. When are these pieces going to be on sale?
+Brandon Jone Feel free to give us a call! 1-866-639-7328 We do offer a large selection of colors that you can check out on our website along with some of our other materials. www.leatherseats.com/color-selections/ These parts are available for purchase, for pricing and availability call us or shoot us an email to sales@leatherseats.com.
Hello! I have searched your site and cannot find the kit for the dash and door panels. Was this strictly custom work, or do you sell those pieces for DIY or other upholstery shops? I recently purchased a used 1SS convertible. It was a great deal, but it badly needs an interior upgrade. Thanks!
Awesomw craftsmanship... These decorative stitches look awesome!! Could you please let me know the type of leather point needle you use? I see that it a straight stich, but I would like to know if it is a S, LL, R... Thanks in advance!!!
+Delta Johnny Thanks for the compliments! Eric is the guy you want to talk to about the tech specs. He is head of our LS Prime Dept. and is the master upholsterer around here. Feel free to email at ericp@leatherseats.com
Ok I want to know this, do you sell the insert for the top of the door separately? I feel like I could do that part myself and along with the knee pads.
+junmamj Thanks for the comment! Just so you know we do ship our product worldwide and our products come ready to install right out of the box. In specialty parts like the ones in the video, you may want to look into having a professional local upholstery shop do the installation. Feel free to give us a call at 1-866-639-7328

JR BORIQUA7 We appreciate you watching though! A lot of our customers are interested in learning upholstery installation so we try to make a few videos like this to show some of the details that go into the process. Thank you for your comments!
So yeah, to remodel your car interior you ll need just to take an upholstery course, buy commercial sowing machine, and like thousands of bucks of equipment.... and ready! Ya kidding me?

You are very talented, I have quite a bit more to learn to get to that level! Quick question, where can I get one of those compressed air plastic welders? What are they called? The closest I found was one from Harbor Freight with a built in air pump.
Thank you for your compliments and for watching! That is a thermoplastic welder that uses compressed air, however, you can probably get a similar effect from the Harbor Freight version. Also, check out our new video on the Mustang door panels!

Nice job...please give me the details about air torch...and airless weld brand name
I would never attempt to do this myself....
