It also got them their second win on The Show. About a year later Bon Voyage repeated the process and got them their third and fourth wins.

That white furball in Bonvoyage is called 'Celly', it represent Cell & all earth lifeform (flora & fauna). I think it is a symbol of life rebirth/ healing after earth destruction. Bonvoyage could be a healing song, but maybe the other way around. Why Bon Voyage? Farewell to Earth or Farewell to Humanity? Who knows...but one thing for sure, the Tarot card that Gahyeon hold is a symbol of change, transition, rites of passage, metamorphosis, long journey...even the album 'Apocalypse: From Us' itself also sound a bit different from their previous albums, it's another transition to a 'New Dreamcatcher'. Just like how they change from Nightmare Era to Deja Vu Era, and another change to Dystopia Era.

"Maison" is part 1 of the Apocalypse trilogy. Dreamcatcher are touching on a very important subject here. Maison is French for "house" or rather "home", and they are singing about everyone's home, which is our planet. Previously they talked about online hate, now they are tackling an issue that impacts the whole planet and therefore everyone. Climate change is going to affect all of us, and it is already affecting many people. Island Nations will disappear under the ocean ("Save my home in the ocean"). Ice melts in the arctic and displaces people ("Save my home in the polar"). Forests get decimated by corporate greed and habitats get destroyed ("Save my home in the jungle") and disappearing glaciers and snow packs result in even less water for deserts ("Save my home in the desert"). People have a natural tendency to ignore issues that seem to be in the future - but climate change is here, right now. We can't wait anymore, and it is good that Dreamcatcher use their platform to promote change: "Break your habit now!" Musically I really enjoy the song. Like in BEcause, the rock/metal vibe is dialed back a bit, but it is still there and highly distorted. Although the more I listen to it, the more Rock I hear. I especially like how the pre-chorus and chorus seems to appear out of nowhere, the chord progression in the bridge, and the epic end part. The bass line is crazy as well. LEEZ and Ollounder (their producers) have done it again, and the members are just brilliant. Respect! "Vision" is part 2 of the Apocalypse trilogy. I believe they are showing us the perspective from the future in this series, showing us how the earth looks like when we keep acting like we do. While "Maison" was talking about the destruction of the environment, here they seem to be talking about the destruction due to war. I don't know if that was the idea from the beginning, but Putin's aggression definitely played a role here. In one set they even dance in front of what looks sort of like a huge trident, which is the coat of arms of Ukraine (could be a coincidence though, or this is me seeing things). It is easy to see how the conflict in Ukraine could result in global destruction. It's just a push of a button away. Note that Dami presses a launch button, but it's not for nukes. It's for spreading their message, their vision. Peace. To be heard all around the world. The song is also a call for action, to stand together against aggressors and those who are destroying the planet out of greed. There is not much difference between someone leading an army or a corporation, if the result is destruction. Still, Dami said the intention is to resolve the problems in a peaceful way. So, what do we do? There is no easy answer. Dami has an outfit that shows that perfectly. One half is an innocent bridal dress, the other half is simply badass. What I know is that any aggressor only listens to very limited diplomacy, and they need to know that the good in the world is ready and willing to fight them if needed. Whoever the aggressor is, we are more than them. They need to know they will never succeed, the only option is peace. By the way, my interpretation could be completely wrong, any other theory is perfectly valid as well. Musically, it's heavier than Maison, and I feel it fits the subject matter very well. It sounds aggressive and heavy, but also soft and vulnerable. There is the duality again. And I love the fake keychange at the end of the chorus, the crazy bass and the guitar in the bridge. All in all this is a fantastic release! "Bon Voyage" is the 3rd and final part of the Apocalypse trilogy, which is about the destruction of the environment by humanity. The members have mentioned that it is about giving nature a break. Any encounter between human beings always has separation attached to it as well, just as death is a part of life. SuA also said that the fluffy floating thing that Dami summons from her painting is a cell, representing nature. It has been named "Celly" and is adorable, right? My dark mind believes that they are saying "Have a good trip" to humanity, since we are well on our way of wiping ourselves out. It's like a breakup between humanity and the earth. Once humanity is gone, nature gets the break it needs and the circle will begin again. For me, the key to understanding the lyrics is that they are singing as human beings, not as a single person. And they are singing to nature, confessing their love and the realization that we are not good for nature and that it probably resents us. It could also be the other way round (them singing as mother nature to humanity). SuA jumping out after the dove seem to represent their desire for peace. There are still many things I don't know. For example, why are all three titles in French. 😉 (And why are there 3 Damis with 7 shadows...) The story of the MV seems to be that the rest of humanity has sheltered away under force fields after the apocalypse. This gives nature time to heal. Musically I can already say this is one of their best songs for me. The chorus slaps hard, and the variations between heavy and slow are just beautiful. It has emotion and impact at the same time. Putting JiU's sweet voice together with an acoustic guitar is simply genius. We lost Leez as a producer, but the team around Ollounder did a fantastic job!

I don’t have a favorite song. All of their songs are my favorite. They each evoke a different emotion in me. I was never into music until I discovered Dreamcatcher. They cover practically every genre in their albums. They can do it all. Their title tracks tend to be on the rock side but they do everything in their b sides.

I believe someone did already mention this but - three of the members have Tattoos. Siyeon has one on the back if her neck saying 'Paradise is where i am' as an homage to her first solo track Paradise but also about getting through the struggles of Pre-DC and early DC to get where they are. She also has her initials stylized as a Treble Clef (i think, im not good with sheet music terms) on her left shoulder, and then her families birth years in roman numerals from below her right shoulder blade and under her right arm toward her ribs. Dami has a butterfly on the back of her i believe left arm near the elbow that symbolizes her family dog that she had since childhood and lost (also wrote the song butterfly about it, special clip on their youtube) and a crescent moon of flowers on her right shoulderblade. Maison the first Dreamcatcher MV with 100% CGI effect & background. All done in green screen hall. In the dance sequence, they use XR technology to capture a real time CGI apocalyptic background, which is why the motion seems wobbly. They use CGI so that they won't waste any non recyclable prop for the MV production. Sadly in the kpop MV production, sometime the non recyclable background prop just get thrown away after the end of MV production process. So DC Company & the MV production team went full CGI in Maison MV to avoid this. Although in Vision & Bonvoyage they use a real prop, DC Company release an alternative album, a platform version of album to encourage InSomnia to buy CD-less & less paper album that more cheaper & lighter. Small move, but could give a big impact to whole K-Pop industry one day.
Somehow Bonvoyage feels like a healing song. It's like how our world right now that still in healing phase after cv 19 pandemic hit back in early 2020.. Because human cause a lot of destruction on this earth, God give a sign, Mother Nature strike back at humanity with deadly viruses. We can see a lot of changes when the whole world is locked up during the pandemic crisis. World heal by itself, animals return their natural habitat, less air & water pollution, no deforestation activity, no bush fire, fresh air & clean water, the earth temperature return to normal because less human activity for almost 3 years...now when humans are free again, they start war & destruction here and there...human never learn anything from this...
First off, love your reactions. Next I would suggest their three stand alone songs: 'Deja Vu' - (Song between the Nightmare series and the Dystopia trilogy, collaboration with Kings Raid and one of the fan favorites) ‘R.o.S.E BLUE’ - (After Deja Vu also before Dystopia trilogy, only 6 members with Handong being in China, game collab with Girl Gun Cafe) 'BEcause' - (Song between the Dystopia trilogy and the Apocalypse trilogy, 'Summer' song off their Summer Holiday mini album)
There's just a depth and dramatic weight to so much of Dreamcatcher's music - and when its lighter and less weighty its still so endearing. Just like them to be honest - a bunch of endearing goofballs behind the scenes. However you choose to experience them I don't think you can go wrong. There's their first 6 title tracks that make up the Nightmare series. Starting with their debut, Chase me, on through Good Night, Fly High, You and I, What, and Piri. Then there are their more stand alone titles like Deja Vu, Rose Blue, and Because. If you wanted to check out b-sides there's a ton of great one's. Since you started with Scream you might consider listening to the full album it came out on, Dystopia: The Tree of Language. That was their first full length album and toward the middle of their discography. It is missing Handong unfortunately since she was in China as folks mentioned to you, but some very much beloved songs are on it that showcase their range of styles. Plus, among other things, you get the special clip for Red Sun (with choreo by main dancer, SuA), the Dingo Music performance video for Black or White, main vocalist Siyeon's solo song, Paradise (with special clip), their self-made MV for Sahara (did I mention goofballs?) -- and I think my personal favorites from that album at the moment are a couple I didn't even mention. Based on your reactions so far I'm fairly certain you will enjoy however you choose to approach. Looking forward to it.
I comeback to this trilogy again, and I forgot how to breathe. Bri and Tori watch it for the first time, and so I am, Dreamcatcher give me that feeling again while I lost counting.
I recommend Dreamcatcher's "Reason" MV. "Reason" is a song that DREAMCATCHER is sending to fans. I recommend the live video of Dreamcatcher 'Mayday' and ' Wind Blows ' to you. It wasn't the title song of the album, but all of Dreamcatcher's fans love it. The tattoos are real. That's Siyeon (she-yawn), who also does the F5 run in Bon Voyage that causes cry-headbanging. On her back are the birth years of her dad, mom, and older sister in Roman numerals. She also has SY stylized as a treble clef on her shoulder and "Paradise is where I am" on the back of her neck; all are visible at some point in the Maison m/v.

Yup tattoos are all real! Siyeon has three and the most notable ones (that big roman number, one on her neck and the one on her shoulder is visible here too). Other members that have tattoos are Dami (you can't see them often weirdly although they're not hidden). A crescent moon on her shoulder blade and a butterfly above her elbow (can be seen pretty well in her BONVOYAGE rap). Yoohyeon also has 2, a small green clover on her arm and on her ribcage a dove with freedom or something like that🤣 Other members have played with the thought as well but everything you see right now from them is stick on, they love those things😭 Can't wait for b-sides and a guide, and hopefully someone recommended insomnicsy already! Basically anything from her channel is gold. Btw they will have a comeback sometime soon, it's all very mysterious. They do release a mystery code with like a riddle before every cb on their Insta but this time they've outdone themselves (we're talking burner accounts, secret UA-cam videos etc...). No confirmation news article too so InSomnia is just guessing there will be something in November. They also said they've been working on an English album but no confirmation on that either. The best thing about Dreamcatcher is that they sound this good singing live while doing choreo. Their live vocals are something else.. they are so, so talented. They sing with such emotion and power, but they are versatile.. they can be delicate and sweet, sensual, straight up cheery. They are great 😌 Even with their win encore for Bon Voyage, they absolutely slayed without their in ears. Worth a watch. With choosing a favourite.. even though I have listened to all their songs multiple times (and they are ALL good, title tracks and B sides), sometimes one of their songs will hit me out of nowhere and become one of my new favourites.
I love the message of Maison and that they finally got their first and second wins with it. I love the Vision outfits and Dami’s rap. Bon voyage also has an English version called Farewell version. For this trilogy I took that they are goddess who came from wherever to try and save the world from apocalypse by dealing with the major companies/cooperations behind pollution and such. Maison used a lot of CGI because it ment they didn’t have to build sets and waste materials and it also feed into the environmental message of Maison. First with the message to save the environments of the world, then to stop wars in vision “ if they don’t have a reason, I will give you a vision” They will give you a vision to fight for. During Vision Dami puts up not only a shield but transmits their message around the globe. In Bon voyage when it’s deemed safe, they drop the global shield and leave it Celly and Mother Nature shape the world and protect it. With all the war and distraction of habitat, this trilogy is impacting. DC doesn’t shy away from messages based in reality in their stories.

Yes, Siyeon has tattoos, I think one on at th ebase of her neck and one on the back of her ribcage, that's probably the one you can see most easily in videos. Dami has at least one on the back of her shoulder, and I think Yoohyeon has a small one. Tats are somewhat frowned on in Korean society, so idols usually have to cover them for tv appearences and early in their career when they're supposed to be squeaky clean. But DC are veterans now, veteran idols tend to have more freedom, and DC have always had a more DGAF attitude towards a lot of things, so you can see the tats in their videos nowadays if you know where to look.

I think Dami is my bias? But Handong and JIU have been wrecking me haha (also Yoohyeon, this is why I can't choose). My ult group is Stray Kids personally but this is my ult girl group! Yes the tattoo on Siyeon is real, IIRC that one is her birthdate in Roman numerals? (someone who is a better Insomnia than me can correct me if I'm wrong, lol). It has been speculated that Vision is about the war in Ukraine, in addition to the climate change theme being pulled through the trilogy. Maison and Vision were done I believe almost 100% greenscreen, as an effort to reduce waste (making the message of Maison super meta). Someone said that Dami's black and white outfit in Vision is giving final fantasy and I can't unsee it hahaha! Don't worry I got overwhelmed and emotional to BV and I still cry sometimes hahaha. Everyone loves the slappy bass at the beginning. I cannot recommend this album enough (Apocalypse: From Us). Dami (the rapper you like) POPS TF OFF in Demian and Propose. Also yes, we all love miss Siyeon, our main vocalist (who saves SuA, and who pops off with that high note at the end right after SuA's part of the bridge). Siyeon is also the one who pops off with the add libs (and the vibrato that you like) in Boca, and who does the bridge high note when they put up the barrier around the earth in Vision. She is a vocal queen! DC is 7 talented ass vocalists though, though. Bon Voyage is a love letter to the earth - it's kind of about giving things a rest and letting nature come back and recover. The dreamcatchers came to the earth and used their powers to get rid of the corruption and pollution and such, and now they have to leave (and if you look at the end scene when the barrier comes down, you can see that trees and green and growth have come back all the way up to the human enclave - the earth has recovered. It's time to go.) It's so funny that everyone says that BV gives anime, which is awesome, because it's going back to their roots (their early sound in the Nightmare era was very J-rock inspired. They've also literally done an anime opening song - Eclipse - for King's Raid). I hope you guys will go back and check out their earlier Nightmare stuff. They also did a collab video called RoSE Blue for a game called Girl Gun Cafe, and the story/acting in addition to the song is BEAUTIFUL. Their B-sides are ALL phenomenal and every genre. You will never be disappointed in DC.

Ah, well, the REALLY GREAT thing about Music (especially DC's music) is that you don't HAVE to choose a favorite (or, really, sometimes a favorite chooses you, just like with finding a bias in a group of AMAZING people). I would imagine that being content creators, you find yourselves in a position where you must make decisions for your channel that cause you to choose between one thing and another. I know that must be rough! I would personally NEVER be able to survive making a video of a game of 'keep one, drop one' with this group's songs! No way! Thankfully, as 'just an average schlubb' and NOT a content creator, I can just sit back and relax without having to say 'that's a fav' or not. I HATE having to choose over things like that and it's a deeper hate for choosing between people. Playing favorites can really hurt people (I know that because I was raised in a family with many siblings...I hated that A LOT). So I really tried VERY HARD not to play favorites with people but Dream Catcher did end up becoming my Ult Group in all of Music in general (no bias here because they are ALL biases, which defeats the point); complete OT7. As hard as I tried to avoid it, I also ended up with an Ult Bias in K-Pop (and maybe in all of Music in general); Wendy of Red Velvet.

That white furball in Bonvoyage is called 'Celly', it represent Cell & all earth lifeform (flora & fauna). I think it is a symbol of life rebirth/ healing after earth destruction. Bonvoyage could be a healing song, but maybe the other way around. Why Bon Voyage? Farewell to Earth or Farewell to Humanity? Who knows...but one thing for sure, the Tarot card that Gahyeon hold is a symbol of change, transition, rites of passage, metamorphosis, long journey...even the album 'Apocalypse: From Us' itself also sound a bit different from their previous albums, it's another transition to a 'New Dreamcatcher'. Just like how they change from Nightmare Era to Deja Vu Era, and another change to Dystopia Era.

"Maison" is part 1 of the Apocalypse trilogy. Dreamcatcher are touching on a very important subject here. Maison is French for "house" or rather "home", and they are singing about everyone's home, which is our planet. Previously they talked about online hate, now they are tackling an issue that impacts the whole planet and therefore everyone. Climate change is going to affect all of us, and it is already affecting many people. Island Nations will disappear under the ocean ("Save my home in the ocean"). Ice melts in the arctic and displaces people ("Save my home in the polar"). Forests get decimated by corporate greed and habitats get destroyed ("Save my home in the jungle") and disappearing glaciers and snow packs result in even less water for deserts ("Save my home in the desert").
People have a natural tendency to ignore issues that seem to be in the future - but climate change is here, right now. We can't wait anymore, and it is good that Dreamcatcher use their platform to promote change: "Break your habit now!"
Musically I really enjoy the song. Like in BEcause, the rock/metal vibe is dialed back a bit, but it is still there and highly distorted. Although the more I listen to it, the more Rock I hear. I especially like how the pre-chorus and chorus seems to appear out of nowhere, the chord progression in the bridge, and the epic end part. The bass line is crazy as well. LEEZ and Ollounder (their producers) have done it again, and the members are just brilliant. Respect!
"Vision" is part 2 of the Apocalypse trilogy. I believe they are showing us the perspective from the future in this series, showing us how the earth looks like when we keep acting like we do. While "Maison" was talking about the destruction of the environment, here they seem to be talking about the destruction due to war. I don't know if that was the idea from the beginning, but Putin's aggression definitely played a role here. In one set they even dance in front of what looks sort of like a huge trident, which is the coat of arms of Ukraine (could be a coincidence though, or this is me seeing things).
It is easy to see how the conflict in Ukraine could result in global destruction. It's just a push of a button away. Note that Dami presses a launch button, but it's not for nukes. It's for spreading their message, their vision. Peace. To be heard all around the world. The song is also a call for action, to stand together against aggressors and those who are destroying the planet out of greed. There is not much difference between someone leading an army or a corporation, if the result is destruction. Still, Dami said the intention is to resolve the problems in a peaceful way.
So, what do we do? There is no easy answer. Dami has an outfit that shows that perfectly. One half is an innocent bridal dress, the other half is simply badass. What I know is that any aggressor only listens to very limited diplomacy, and they need to know that the good in the world is ready and willing to fight them if needed. Whoever the aggressor is, we are more than them. They need to know they will never succeed, the only option is peace.
By the way, my interpretation could be completely wrong, any other theory is perfectly valid as well.
Musically, it's heavier than Maison, and I feel it fits the subject matter very well. It sounds aggressive and heavy, but also soft and vulnerable. There is the duality again. And I love the fake keychange at the end of the chorus, the crazy bass and the guitar in the bridge. All in all this is a fantastic release!
"Bon Voyage" is the 3rd and final part of the Apocalypse trilogy, which is about the destruction of the environment by humanity. The members have mentioned that it is about giving nature a break. Any encounter between human beings always has separation attached to it as well, just as death is a part of life. SuA also said that the fluffy floating thing that Dami summons from her painting is a cell, representing nature. It has been named "Celly" and is adorable, right?
My dark mind believes that they are saying "Have a good trip" to humanity, since we are well on our way of wiping ourselves out. It's like a breakup between humanity and the earth. Once humanity is gone, nature gets the break it needs and the circle will begin again. For me, the key to understanding the lyrics is that they are singing as human beings, not as a single person. And they are singing to nature, confessing their love and the realization that we are not good for nature and that it probably resents us. It could also be the other way round (them singing as mother nature to humanity).
SuA jumping out after the dove seem to represent their desire for peace.
There are still many things I don't know. For example, why are all three titles in French. 😉 (And why are there 3 Damis with 7 shadows...)
The story of the MV seems to be that the rest of humanity has sheltered away under force fields after the apocalypse. This gives nature time to heal.
Musically I can already say this is one of their best songs for me. The chorus slaps hard, and the variations between heavy and slow are just beautiful. It has emotion and impact at the same time. Putting JiU's sweet voice together with an acoustic guitar is simply genius. We lost Leez as a producer, but the team around Ollounder did a fantastic job!

I don’t have a favorite song. All of their songs are my favorite. They each evoke a different emotion in me. I was never into music until I discovered Dreamcatcher. They cover practically every genre in their albums. They can do it all. Their title tracks tend to be on the rock side but they do everything in their b sides.

Siyeon has one on the back if her neck saying 'Paradise is where i am' as an homage to her first solo track Paradise but also about getting through the struggles of Pre-DC and early DC to get where they are. She also has her initials stylized as a Treble Clef (i think, im not good with sheet music terms) on her left shoulder, and then her families birth years in roman numerals from below her right shoulder blade and under her right arm toward her ribs.
Dami has a butterfly on the back of her i believe left arm near the elbow that symbolizes her family dog that she had since childhood and lost (also wrote the song butterfly about it, special clip on their youtube) and a crescent moon of flowers on her right shoulderblade.

Maison the first Dreamcatcher MV with 100% CGI effect & background. All done in green screen hall. In the dance sequence, they use XR technology to capture a real time CGI apocalyptic background, which is why the motion seems wobbly. They use CGI so that they won't waste any non recyclable prop for the MV production. Sadly in the kpop MV production, sometime the non recyclable background prop just get thrown away after the end of MV production process. So DC Company & the MV production team went full CGI in Maison MV to avoid this. Although in Vision & Bonvoyage they use a real prop, DC Company release an alternative album, a platform version of album to encourage InSomnia to buy CD-less & less paper album that more cheaper & lighter. Small move, but could give a big impact to whole K-Pop industry one day.
Somehow Bonvoyage feels like a healing song. It's like how our world right now that still in healing phase after cv 19 pandemic hit back in early 2020.. Because human cause a lot of destruction on this earth, God give a sign, Mother Nature strike back at humanity with deadly viruses. We can see a lot of changes when the whole world is locked up during the pandemic crisis. World heal by itself, animals return their natural habitat, less air & water pollution, no deforestation activity, no bush fire, fresh air & clean water, the earth temperature return to normal because less human activity for almost 3 years...now when humans are free again, they start war & destruction here and there...human never learn anything from this...

There's just a depth and dramatic weight to so much of Dreamcatcher's music - and when its lighter and less weighty its still so endearing. Just like them to be honest - a bunch of endearing goofballs behind the scenes.
However you choose to experience them I don't think you can go wrong. There's their first 6 title tracks that make up the Nightmare series. Starting with their debut, Chase me, on through Good Night, Fly High, You and I, What, and Piri. Then there are their more stand alone titles like Deja Vu, Rose Blue, and Because.
If you wanted to check out b-sides there's a ton of great one's. Since you started with Scream you might consider listening to the full album it came out on, Dystopia: The Tree of Language. That was their first full length album and toward the middle of their discography. It is missing Handong unfortunately since she was in China as folks mentioned to you, but some very much beloved songs are on it that showcase their range of styles. Plus, among other things, you get the special clip for Red Sun (with choreo by main dancer, SuA), the Dingo Music performance video for Black or White, main vocalist Siyeon's solo song, Paradise (with special clip), their self-made MV for Sahara (did I mention goofballs?) -- and I think my personal favorites from that album at the moment are a couple I didn't even mention.
Based on your reactions so far I'm fairly certain you will enjoy however you choose to approach. Looking forward to it.

Yup tattoos are all real! Siyeon has three and the most notable ones (that big roman number, one on her neck and the one on her shoulder is visible here too).
Other members that have tattoos are Dami (you can't see them often weirdly although they're not hidden). A crescent moon on her shoulder blade and a butterfly above her elbow (can be seen pretty well in her BONVOYAGE rap).
Yoohyeon also has 2, a small green clover on her arm and on her ribcage a dove with freedom or something like that🤣
Other members have played with the thought as well but everything you see right now from them is stick on, they love those things😭

No confirmation news article too so InSomnia is just guessing there will be something in November. They also said they've been working on an English album but no confirmation on that either. The best thing about Dreamcatcher is that they sound this good singing live while doing choreo. Their live vocals are something else.. they are so, so talented. They sing with such emotion and power, but they are versatile.. they can be delicate and sweet, sensual, straight up cheery. They are great 😌 Even with their win encore for Bon Voyage, they absolutely slayed without their in ears. Worth a watch.
With choosing a favourite.. even though I have listened to all their songs multiple times (and they are ALL good, title tracks and B sides), sometimes one of their songs will hit me out of nowhere and become one of my new favourites.
I love the message of Maison and that they finally got their first and second wins with it. I love the Vision outfits and Dami’s rap. Bon voyage also has an English version called Farewell version. For this trilogy I took that they are goddess who came from wherever to try and save the world from apocalypse by dealing with the major companies/cooperations behind pollution and such. Maison used a lot of CGI because it ment they didn’t have to build sets and waste materials and it also feed into the environmental message of Maison. First with the message to save the environments of the world, then to stop wars in vision “ if they don’t have a reason, I will give you a vision” They will give you a vision to fight for. During Vision Dami puts up not only a shield but transmits their message around the globe. In Bon voyage when it’s deemed safe, they drop the global shield and leave it Celly and Mother Nature shape the world and protect it. With all the war and distraction of habitat, this trilogy is impacting. DC doesn’t shy away from messages based in reality in their stories.
You girls pretty nailed most of the message. Bon Voyage is them leaving Earth for her to heal up after the destruction and fighting going on.
I'm looking forward to your reactions of their b-sides. But before that, please do the Nightmare series and complete all the stories they were telling. It's fun because they don't just sing a song, they tell you stories with their songs.

Yes, Siyeon has tattoos, I think one on at th ebase of her neck and one on the back of her ribcage, that's probably the one you can see most easily in videos. Dami has at least one on the back of her shoulder, and I think Yoohyeon has a small one. Tats are somewhat frowned on in Korean society, so idols usually have to cover them for tv appearences and early in their career when they're supposed to be squeaky clean. But DC are veterans now, veteran idols tend to have more freedom, and DC have always had a more DGAF attitude towards a lot of things, so you can see the tats in their videos nowadays if you know where to look.

I'm so glad you're venturing through Dreamcatcher! Vision was my first song to get me into Dreamcatcher. I honestly still don't know if I have a bias haha. So I generally say I'm OT7. I think Dami is my bias? But Handong and JIU have been wrecking me haha (also Yoohyeon, this is why I can't choose). My ult group is Stray Kids personally but this is my ult girl group! Dreamcatcher is my second favorite kpop group and I love them so so much. I think my favorite song is probably Deja Vu? Also Propose is amazing too! But I can't wait to see your thoughts to Deja Vu! It has been speculated that Vision is about the war in Ukraine, in addition to the climate change theme being pulled through the trilogy.
Maison and Vision were done I believe almost 100% greenscreen, as an effort to reduce waste (making the message of Maison super meta). Someone said that Dami's black and white outfit in Vision is giving final fantasy and I can't unsee it hahaha!
Don't worry I got overwhelmed and emotional to BV and I still cry sometimes hahaha. Everyone loves the slappy bass at the beginning. I cannot recommend this album enough (Apocalypse: From Us). Dami (the rapper you like) POPS TF OFF in Demian and Propose. Also yes, we all love miss Siyeon, our main vocalist (who saves SuA, and who pops off with that high note at the end right after SuA's part of the bridge). Siyeon is also the one who pops off with the add libs (and the vibrato that you like) in Boca, and who does the bridge high note when they put up the barrier around the earth in Vision. She is a vocal queen! DC is 7 talented ass vocalists though, though. Bon Voyage is a love letter to the earth - it's kind of about giving things a rest and letting nature come back and recover. The dreamcatchers came to the earth and used their powers to get rid of the corruption and pollution and such, and now they have to leave (and if you look at the end scene when the barrier comes down, you can see that trees and green and growth have come back all the way up to the human enclave - the earth has recovered. It's time to go.)
It's so funny that everyone says that BV gives anime, which is awesome, because it's going back to their roots (their early sound in the Nightmare era was very J-rock inspired. They've also literally done an anime opening song - Eclipse - for King's Raid). I hope you guys will go back and check out their earlier Nightmare stuff. They also did a collab video called RoSE Blue for a game called Girl Gun Cafe, and the story/acting in addition to the song is BEAUTIFUL. Their B-sides are ALL phenomenal and every genre. You will never be disappointed in DC.
Appreciate all of the Dreamcatcher love thus far. If you think they've stolen your hearts now, just wait until you learn about their history and their personalities. They are legit some of most relatable idols. They're very genuine in so many ways, hence all of the passion you've seen from the fandom thus far. Ah, well, the REALLY GREAT thing about Music (especially DC's music) is that you don't HAVE to choose a favorite (or, really, sometimes a favorite chooses you, just like with finding a bias in a group of AMAZING people).
I would imagine that being content creators, you find yourselves in a position where you must make decisions for your channel that cause you to choose between one thing and another. I know that must be rough! I would personally NEVER be able to survive making a video of a game of 'keep one, drop one' with this group's songs! No way!
Thankfully, as 'just an average schlubb' and NOT a content creator, I can just sit back and relax without having to say 'that's a fav' or not. I HATE having to choose over things like that and it's a deeper hate for choosing between people. Playing favorites can really hurt people (I know that because I was raised in a family with many siblings...I hated that A LOT). So I really tried VERY HARD not to play favorites with people but Dream Catcher did end up becoming my Ult Group in all of Music in general (no bias here because they are ALL biases, which defeats the point); complete OT7. As hard as I tried to avoid it, I also ended up with an Ult Bias in K-Pop (and maybe in all of Music in general); Wendy of Red Velvet.
