Have the option of buying the EVS front lip plus the EVS splitter. Is the splitter necessary or can I get just the lip and install another splitter such as battle aero?
So far so good, she actually raised the coilovers in front of the car. In this video the height you are looking at was right after we installed it and definitely it will scrape or crack. It lowers the front end about 1.5"
@@r3kop The one we got didn't stick on good and was coming off withthe transfer tape. That's why we didn't end up putting it on. Let me know if you have the same problem we had with those 2 bolts on each side that didn't line up.
Are you talking about the screws in the video that we left out on both sides? The hole was misaligned and it still seemed really sturdy without them. 14:18-15:00.
Are you talking about the fitment. We figured out why we couldn't get the sides to wrap around the fender also. It ended up being simple. If you look at the front and there is a slight gap. It means you need to make sure the carbon lip is hooked/resting on a metal lip right under the bumper. 12:38.
@@TeamICZER No, I am referring to the screws that go in the fender with the wheel liner below the sidemarker light on the wheelwell. I cannot get the sides of the lip behind the fender.
@@TeamICZER That's the weird part, every part of the lip is fitting snug but i am fighting to get the top section of the sides of the lip to slip behind the fender. I got the bottom section of the sides in but i cannot seem to get the top section to clip behind the fender
@@cliffdee2 haha, true that. She says she can clear all the dips and driveways and speed bumps she normally drives on a daily basis. I'm just worried about those unfamiliar areas that she doesn't drive. So hopefully sometime soon we can find a set of air cups to raise the front when needed.
@@TeamICZER There isn't enough suspension stroke in front for air cup system. I already investigated this with Reinharte/Stance USA suspension engineer.
This is the version 2 kit. It actually fit really good. We did have an issue though on the alignment of the 2 bolts on both sides of the lip. At 14:35 in the video we explained what happened. We decided no to put the bolts on since the kit fit really tight and was not moving or shaking at all. Here is the link to that part of the video. I hope they make a v3 kit to where these bolts actually line up properly for future buyers. Oh I forgot to mention that there are 2 bolts and 3 screws on each end of the lip that attaches it to the bumper. With how tight the fit was, we determined that the 3 screws we put on each side were strong enough to hold the lip on along with the 10 clips on the bottom of the lip. Oh and on those 10 clips, the holes were either a little small or slightly off. But we managed to pull out the pin/rivet from the bumper clip sleeve, pushed in the sleeve first, then tapped in the pin/rivet part of the clip. In another part of the video 1 hold was too small when we were attaching the lip and the splitter. Hope this helps out.

You can use the Battle Aero Splitter. Just need so drill some custom holes.
Does the pin stripe already come placed on the lip or so i have the option to leave it off
it already comes with it. but alot of people remove it or place black vinyl stripe over it.
How does the EVS red pinstripe line up with the side skirt pinstripes? Do they line up evenly? I mean level wise, not color wise.
They do not line up. It is lower by about 1.5"

@@thepattypooo the car is still lowered. we just raised enough to get over daily dips and bumps the car usually drives on.
How about long term driving? Hear of bumper gaps opening due to extra downforce on the bumper?
She says she hasn't experienced any of that yet on the type r. If anything its unnoticeable.
Did you receive any authentication papers or stickers in the box for the front lip and splitters?
The front lip and front splitter only came with installation instructions and 1 Evasive decal.

it was 1.5" lower, we raised the front coilovers 1" temporarily. We are looking into purchasing Air Cups.
