This video was helpful brother lol my power mirror stopped working and from your video i found out that the 2 white prong things on the bracket are missing on my mirror(idk when then broke and fell off) which made my mirror shaky and loose
I wrapped mine on my 10th gen in carbon fiber cuz I'm on that budget lol. You should do a chrome delete on the window trim. Looks way better black

I just tried this and for putting the mirror back on instead of taking the white things off just push it in with mirror hard and it’ll stick and it should be a little faster
I just got a new 2019 Honda Civic sport sedan do the carbon parts from the link fit on it? And the ones that say Civic + without Si mean any year that’s 2016 and newer
My Type R came from the dealer with OEM Honda carbon fiber mirror caps installed directly over the colored mirror caps the car came with from the factory. The Honda install directions tell you to remove the colored caps and install black covers before installing the carbon fiber caps. No idea why they (or after market vendors) make it so complicated. All i had to do to remove the CF caps was use some dental floss and plastic trim removal tools.

So I just installed my caps they look great. Lower clip was a bitch. I ended up unscrewing the housing for extra wiggle room took about am hour to get them both done. But! Now I have a weird high pitch beep that last about 30 seconds when I turn the car off and I can't remember if it did it before 🤣🤦 do you have the noise? 2021 type r

Andres Nunez No regrets, easy color to maintain in my opinion. Also became my favorite one with the pearl flakes within the paint really sticking out!

That inside part, which can be a headache - actually slides into the notch - has a rail. Just an FYI for anyone looking.
I thank you guys for the info but can I make one observation. The lower clip appears to want to be pushed down rather than up. I looked at my new skull caps and the lower one seemed to be in the opposite direction to the upper two. Regardless, your video made it so much easier to disassemble the components and I thank you for the trouble you went to.

Synth Carbon is great quality BUT they send me some defective caps. I contact him he said return them no problem. He was supposed to send me replacements after i shipped the one i had. Its been 3 wks and no answer from him , no refund or replacement caps

How the fuck did you get the corners into that groove? I tried but couldn't get it. Even the auto body shop I took my car to get the bumper fixed couldnt get it. Any tricks?
How's the fitment verses OEM? Did you have to do any modifying to the mirror housing or to the carbon fiber cap itself? Keep grinding and stay humble my bruddah! Yee Yee
Paladin ! Fitment is good actually, no modifications to the mirror at all, took a bit to get it on. But looks OEM to me.

Jason Lopez It’s really hard to help you out, all I can say is don’t be afraid and just add pressure. It’s definitely one of those mods you really have to work around with to get them on, it’ll be annoying at times but soon you’ll get it done. Just gotta send it! Haha

Stormtrooper 2323 Honestly hard to tell, the piece itself being so small is already light, so you can’t really cut off much more weight to it that’ll make a huge impact.
