Mr Jimbo I just want to thank you for sharing all your knowledge. I am not a professional welder and welding is not my primary job, but I like it and I can put metal together. I been learning a lot from you I have to confess that I copy some of your designs. I built gates and door if people ask me. Again thanks
Glad I found your channel by accident! I am an American living in Thailand and if I can't make or fabricate something, I don't need it! Or, by the time I could explain what I want I could have built 10. I found your metal barn door with the glass panels and just thought I was crazy that I could make my own in the US vs $10,000 for a double entry door with side panels, gimme a break since most are made in China for pennies!
I would really not sand the way you did in the lathe. Using just one hand like that folding the paper the way you did is a good way to get caught since the sand paper grips well. Hold each end with each hand instead or hold it in a way where you cant get caught. The same goes for the scotch brite. I do enjoy your builds a lot and I am thinking about building a welding table like yours.
I don't want to be picky, and I want to say that I enjoy and respect this channel. However I agree that the sandpaper technique (at 18:53) is known to be a danger. The paper can grip a little extra, wrap around on itself, and pull your hands into the work. Somewhere here on UA-cam there is at least one video that shows this explicitly. Scary! Please work safe, and thanks for the videos!
Great build I like how you used a lathe to make the round ends for your tubes and then welded and then on, then come back to lathe clean up the radius very nice.
Jimbo awesome job on this project. Hopefully the future owners get great use out of it for many years to come my friend. Can't wait to see more videos soon. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work Jimbo. Weld on. Fab on. Keep making. God bless.
Hi I'm really learning from you you show the way your every project is a lesson in itself so keep creating a dear man waiting for more projects good luck to you
Another great project, kudos Jim! When you were talking about all the welds, I couldn't help but think you could have save a lot of welds, material and time by eliminating that center vertical frame. Looks nice aesthetically, but you didn't need it with the gauge metal tubes you used, the horizontal pieces would have easily supported the weight of two bottles. But good for us because it gave us that much more viewing time watching you work which is always awesome!
Once again I learned a few things watching your video 👍 I do have a question and you talked about it in the past...... What do you put on your welding table so that the slag doesn't stick to it? Thanks in advance Have a Jesus filled day everyone Greg in Michigan
beautiful cart! that thing is gonna last several lifetimes compared to the cheap ones you can find online. Id like to build something like this someday.
Great project! It's awesome that you did this to make someone else's job easier. I love everything that you do. Quick side question tho. Does your whole family of 7 live in one house? If so that's pretty wild. That's how I grew up but with a family of 10
3:29 Jimbo... As organized as you are, why don't you have a rack for all of that steel? I built a simple one on casters, that slants back about 10 degrees, with 6 arms for different types of material. On the back side, I put all of my sheet, plate, and expanded. I have an old shot of it on my shop tour. It sure is handy, and I can roll it around.
Awesome channel! Im trying to weld together a heavy duty metal cabinet for my van using similar sized tubing BUT the sheet metal I have access too real cheap is 18 gauge cold rolled 430 stainless sheet metal. Do you think if I used a wire for the 430 that it would mig weld good to the mild steel tubing? Id hate to buy all the materials and it not work.
i love your channel. i wish i could work for you (i don't know squat about welding)! lol. i do have a request - can you please increase your volume? i have things pretty much maxed out and you still come off kind of low. there is noise in my house. thank you, Sir!
Hey Jimbo, great video, just a quick tip to grow your channel. At the end of each clip (or the beginning) tell people to like and subscribe, you should see a nice increase to your channel by doing that.
to be able to grind welds need to chamfer the materiał 45-30 degrees. I work in power plant construction end we newer ever grind welds like Jombo. If you weld something which will be subject to great forces dont grind welds if you not chamfer the materials.
People say dont grind your welds? those jugs could be 1000 pounds each and those joints would not fail....do people not realize how strong a welded seam in? it is not a submarine
Them detailed drawings for viewer consumption must have taken some time to make. Presumably otherwise, as a one off for yourself it would have been a chicken scratch drawing. Or is there software nowadays that makes it the go to option and throw away the sketchpad.
Your project is Good, but you should have used round pipes instead of square ones. Even the pipes should be slimmer for an extra good look. This item is looking a little bit rough.
All of that work and equipment for those tiny little things. I could not do that. I would not even weld them. I would just save a whole bunch of time and epoxy them on. I respect the detail but that is a whole heap of kit for something really really tiny.
Nice project. What's with the "closed captioning" on this video? It was obviously a "voice to text" and it was pretty bad. You went over to the "Burger King" several times instead of the Burr King! LOL!
I love how clean and organized your shop is. That alone brings me joy lol

I’ve never welded and never plan to, but I watch all your videos and am subscribed. Go figure!
Thanks Jim
The look on dudes face at the end sums it up! Dang fine work. You have built an excellent space to bring your ideas to life, inspirational
Nice job. You can buy those black plastic end caps/plugs for the back of those tubes to seal it off if you like.

Jimbo is such a nice dude
Looks nice, but probably very heavy!

Found the video that explains the hazard in this sanding technique: ua-cam.com/video/p5iKM-vC6LM/v-deo.html
You got everything in this shop
Great build I like how you used a lathe to make the round ends for your tubes and then welded and then on, then come back to lathe clean up the radius very nice.
Another excellent job and video production. Thanks TP
This video is so neat and dandy!
Always shut my eyes as you arc up talk about habit 😂
Love your work. Ciao, Marco.
Another spectacular build! Thanks again! Subtitles...doubled up, one over the other, hard to read either one of them.
Just when you thought there was nothing left that could be way over built! LOL Well done, sir.
great work sir we appreciate you

He made it for his own household
Hi I'm really learning from you you show the way your every project is a lesson in itself so keep creating a dear man waiting for more projects good luck to you
Nice build Jimbo, could put some plastic push in caps on the backside of those pipes, otherwise it looks like a good home for some wasps nest!
Aways Great to watch

Salaam Alikum Greg, I seen him clean something with nail polish remover chemical. May Allah guide the rest of your day.
You should let UA-cam generate the closed captions next time, they were pretty funny.
🇺🇸 Very good vidéo 👍 🇺🇸
Francis ➡️ PARIS ➡️ FRANCE 🇫🇷
Bye bye 🖐️.
If you use a separation tool you can cut off the rounded end piece on the lathe.
beautiful cart! that thing is gonna last several lifetimes compared to the cheap ones you can find online. Id like to build something like this someday.
Awesome video! Just starting to tinker with welding / fabrication and it's interesting to watch your process in creating something, learning a ton!
love the video and the cart I have been looking for something like this.

Bless AWESOME 👏 Many lessons learned from your work. Keep it up 👍 Thanks 😊

nice project jimbo, was wondering if you know of any softwares for designing gates and other small projects, greetings from the central valley
Sketchup

nice job
How did you made your welding table
Great project 👍. What name of software for design frame ?
Jimbo, that was a lot of work. Just watching this video wore me out!
How much does that weigh? Great build.
i love your channel. i wish i could work for you (i don't know squat about welding)! lol. i do have a request - can you please increase your volume? i have things pretty much maxed out and you still come off kind of low. there is noise in my house. thank you, Sir!
Is your tap water unsafe to drink ?
Where have you been for a month? We missed you!
Dude, your videos constantly remind me how terrible I am at welding lol
Hey Jimbo, great video, just a quick tip to grow your channel. At the end of each clip (or the beginning) tell people to like and subscribe, you should see a nice increase to your channel by doing that.
Hey Jim I was asking about ur table a few times. Any chance you might let me know what ur running? And great work we appreciate you
Thanks for watching!, It is a certiflat weld table for weldtables.com. Jimbo!
Thanx jimbo
I think it is asking for some front wheels and steering along with a pit bike motor. :D
Should get those plastic tube end caps to close off the openings on that round tube.
Excelente 👌
What brand of rocket machine are you using
Great job Jimbo. If i left it out by the street; someone would steal it in 10 minutes!
Good good
Fantástico 🇧🇷
gostaria de saber qual a marca desse disco de corte que você usa na policorte, abraço.
what drill bits are you using

Thats true in thicker material. It is easy to get full pen with light gauge.
Did you go with stainless steel or Aluminum? Steel will rust.
It will be powder coated and he's not near the ocean.
@jimbosgarage....what is your countertop height?
How much did your table cost ?
It looks good but to much over kill though
one roundbar was cut to short how did you miss that haha
Hey Jimbo, super cart, but the subtitles are a pain in ass man.....
👍👍
What size table is that ?
build a trolley for all the loose lengths of steel on the floor
People say dont grind your welds? those jugs could be 1000 pounds each and those joints would not fail....do people not realize how strong a welded seam in? it is not a submarine
Should’ve made this out of aluminum, that Steel is going to be heavy is all hell lol
Them detailed drawings for viewer consumption must have taken some time to make. Presumably otherwise, as a one off for yourself it would have been a chicken scratch drawing. Or is there software nowadays that makes it the go to option and throw away the sketchpad.
Love your videos but I do have to say, “Whodey!” go BENGALS 🏈
The weld is only as strong as the surrounding metal
Your project is Good, but you should have used round pipes instead of square ones. Even the pipes should be slimmer for an extra good look. This item is looking a little bit rough.

It was a nice metal project for him. I would build it for someone but not for myself-but I'm not a youtuber either.
Nay bác để râu dài quá
Nice project. What's with the "closed captioning" on this video? It was obviously a "voice to text" and it was pretty bad. You went over to the "Burger King" several times instead of the Burr King! LOL!
The guy using this rig will be looking like Schwarzenegger shortly.
A bo'h of wo'oh you said?
Can't you drink tap water over there?
The cart is way too heavy, it weighs more than the four water bottles. Dislike!
