I love that you show your mistakes as well as your triumphs. It’s nice to see the fixes and not just what everyone else shows, like they never make mistakes and everything is perfect the first time. Great project once again.
holy cow - I haven't checked in on your channel in a while, and your videos have gotten a lot better than a 18 months ago! just a lot better editing and you're clearly more comfortable on camera! Your fabrication skills are still great, btw. love the gate.
I also pre-drill when using self tapping screws. You are supposed too. Self tapping screws are only intended to self tap a certain wall thickness and hardness. They don't self tap EVERYTHING. Some people NEVER read the directions. Thank you for sharing.
A work of art. Great craftsmanship, grand slam😀 I sent this video to my husband 😀 he's not a metal worker but admired good craftsmanship. Thanks for sharing.
I never would have thought to use the small bars to fill in the gaps. Video is reminding me of why I wanted to take up welding, maybe after I move I'll look into training for it!
$500 is insane for those 2 pieces. I know because I just bought some 2.5" square tube to build my daughter a single swing set and $450 later I almost had a heart attack for only 5 pieces of tube. Steel prices have tripled in the last few months! Keep up the great videos!
I would love if you explained a little bit about your weld technique. I noticed you go from side to side sometimes and other times you weld straight across. You do an excellent commentary. Just would like a little bit more at times. Thank you for sharing.
Great work! Enjoy your channel a lot for a ling time. Thank you. Can I ask a question - for items like this one - why not galvanize prior to painting? then you don't have to worry about rust ever again?
I like what you did here Jimbo, good fill on that first gap with the round bar the way it folded round to do the whole thing. Your garage set up is awesome, so well organised and tidy. Just out of interest what's your background, is this an area you have always worked in, metal fabrication?
I believe it on the cost of those curved pieces. I have a Swag Off-road Hulk roller and there is no way it could make bends like that on square tubing. I would like to see the machine that made those bends.
I guess it would have been easier to just cap the ends of the radius and just weld the legs on the lower face, but you can't argue with the results lol Great job as usual
A person could, with even less effort, step up onto the block wall and climb over the gate. Pretty sure this is not designed to be a high security gate or fence.
I just wanted to know why leave a big ass hole what purpose does a gate serve I thought it was to keep people out that big hole is saying come on in lol
Jimbo you saved the neighbors from the nightmare's of exposed metal, good job.
Ridiculous

Nice ! Your'e still teaching by trial, it's awesome that makers can learn from you. Thanks Jimbo.
Jimbo, The round bar trick was a great tip, Thanks.
Same, that seems kinda "common sense" but it's a great technique!
Perfect, I admire you
I have been watching you a long time now, and you ALWAYS do amazing work! Your attention to detail is top notch. Great video once again Jimbo.
Just started welding and found your videos. Love the content
Totally agree with you on welding all joints all around.
Very nice gate. Video turned out very well. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work Jimbo. Weld On. Keep Making. God bless.

Jumbo, you a bad man! Beautiful work!

Very nice looking gate, great job.
Awesome build!!
Nice work man!
Looks great!
How does the shop stay so clean. Mine gets covered in all kinds of dust and metal grindings. Imagine a tv would get fried in no time 😁
Looks awesome great work
Beautiful gate Jimbo

Very kool......
Nice
Интересный проект💥💥💥💥💥👍👍👍👍👍
Its very nice gate, like it
If you ship those, they will be "arbor freight"..... I crack me up.
Good
Nice build 👍🏿
Hey Jimbo, what's your process in prepping metal for welding and paint??? Things you really don't see on the vids that could help others.
Cómo siempre un trabajo de excelente
Make video on how to trim a flap disk
Looks like "Gate for Lions dresure". Next step is fire on ring ... :)

TIP TOP Chef👌👍

I’d like to know more about your table Jim. Is it cast? How thick is it?
Really enjoying your channel !!

Jumbo, why not a portaband saw instead of the angle grinder?
Also, as soon as I move, I’m getting a table that size. I could use that on my current project.
You can purchase a tube roller for around $800.
I guess it would have been easier to just cap the ends of the radius and just weld the legs on the lower face, but you can't argue with the results lol
Great job as usual
Waoooo.... By las wates
In my area we call this type of curve, concave..the opposite is convex.
If you painted car’s you would know that black paint actually shows every low imperfections but if you want a colour to do that choose white paint
What brand of weld table are you using? I see thete are a few companies out there making them now.
hay bro In India we apply cellocoat metal paste on two sides and weld remaining two sides rather tha welding all sides
What brand of angle grinder do you use?
Can I ask how much that table ran you? I’m looking at their tables but yours is custom size. Thanks Jimbo
Jim, how much is something(fence) like that will cost?
I have a question is you metal supplier in Southern Calif. is it possible to share where that supplier is?
Please make video on how charge you clients.
Love u man
what is your secret to keep that plywood from delaminating? paint sure wont do it
I’m trying to open a welding shop business what is your advice to me to start the business
Buena chamba...
👍👍👍
You make it look easy. Mine looks like pigeon s#;+.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Beautiful job, but I hope it’s a gated HOA. A person could kick those lower interior slats in with no problem and crawl right in 🥴
A person could, with even less effort, step up onto the block wall and climb over the gate. Pretty sure this is not designed to be a high security gate or fence.
I just wanted to know why leave a big ass hole what purpose does a gate serve I thought it was to keep people out that big hole is saying come on in lol
Hello how are you sir how can i communicate with you
How can i get a gate quote from you? Im local to you
I also need a block wall...
البابا
the wood ruined that gate should have ,ade they cough up the rest to make all steel.
Welding, Grinding and Painting (Without a mask) is a recipe for disaster.
you haven't posted a video in a while
💯💯💯👍👍👍🤘🤘🤘💯💯💯
Pardon, can you answer me
that music sure is annoying
Lots of chatter. To be satisfied with some hints or biblical. Your chatter is annoying.
