SCARR Clean Up & Scouting Weekend at Barnwell Mountain

- In this video we meet up with other members from @texasrovers4796 to do some clean up at Camp Maybe and to scout some trails for the upcoming SCARR event in April of 2024, in our New Defender. We run an easy scenic road, try Sully and finish on Clyde's Ravine. The Land Rover does well with no mods other than a slightly larger tire than stock. We are really looking forward to the event!

We did add rock sliders from Proud Rhino. This video was actually the inspiration for adding them.

The Defender is very comfortable compared to our previous vehicles. We get a range of around 280 miles and that is towing the trailer. We do not take trips without the trailer so I can not comment on range without towing but obviously it would increase significantly. I might get this but the reliability is the problem
@@xzstvr I wouldn't be concerned. Ours has 51k miles on it. We bought it used.. We have put 7k miles on it in 2 months and haven't had any drivetrain issues. Silly things have come up, like the key fob is very temperamental and the Wireless Apple CarPlay cuts in and out. Other than those simple issues, the vehicle hasn't left us stranded like the Land Rovers of the past.
Is this 18” wheels?
the vehicle came with 22's - we switched to the 20" wheel as it does have the larger calipers for the P400 motor.
