Galactic Funk, Time Limit, Asayake
Casiopea is just pure fun
All on my list!
Midnight Rendezvous!!! 1982 live version! It's from the same concert!
I just put out another CASIOPEA reaction but UA-cam had copyright problems. It's on the Odysee mirror of this channel! Copyright stuff is so frustrating, but I want to keep going with the band!
So much fun finding a reaction to Casiopea. This track was a mindblowing song for us "wannabe musicians" and the fact it's live made more or less impossible. Back then, in 1985, there were not possible to spread things like this. You made copies of some others cassettetape and be happy. 😁
With that said... A couple of years ago, I discovered the russian multi musician Valeriy Stepanov.
He is a keyboardist but can play almost every instrument and there is a live video where Stepanov played drums AND keys at the same time... 🤯
The style would be jazz-fusion, at certain points I can hear some Casiopea in some songs.
However, one song that is a favourite is Believe In Yourself starring saxophone player Eric Marienthal and drummer Steven Williams. Happy music and accesable though very complicated music - wise. Please consider check it out!
Be well!
Thank you so much!!! I will add this to the backlog. It sounds like something I would really enjoy!
My absolute favourites. These guys are still cooking, they have split into Casiopea P4 (Original Guitarist w/ 2nd bassist + new drummer and 2nd Keyboardist) and Katsushika trio (Original drummer, keyboards and bass)
Amazing!! Have to hear something recent then...
Yesss bro this Bass player particularly my favourite!

Oh, you like it! Nice
I love it!
I always love running into another TWRP-head over the internet, whether we can interact or nah. Definitely not a coincidence that it was because of this song! I have a playlist that is only TWRP and Casiopea and I listen to it like 45% of the time
Hell yeah! Good to connect!
If you’re gonna look at Casiopea, you should also check out Nab That Chap by tsquare!
Thank you so much! I'll add this one!
Casiopea is huge in Japan. I grow up listening to their music. This is 1981 amd not 1982. Live
The glory period of Casiopea was when the members were Issei Noro, Minoru Mukaiya, Tetsuo Sakurai, and Akira Jimbo. This song was played by them. Love them so much!
I'm a big fan already!
Thank you for your nice video, I was in high school about 40 years ago, and the first time I heard this song, I was completely unaware that it was a live recording; it was an album called 'MINT JAMS', and the trick was that the audience's voice and applause at the end of the last song made me finally realize it was live! I didn't notice it at all. Furthermore, since videos are now available on UA-cam, I realized after 25 years that this song, DominoLine, was also cut and edited and shortened in the MINT JAMS.
I guess that's why I didn't notice any mistakes at all during the performance. They are a great band.
I wish I had been listening to this band my whole life!!! It's truly every bit as good as a studio album to hear them play live.
Asayake.
