Keeping them separated is not good after introduction by like a week you should let them share a cage. Also keeping the two cages together is better for them to get used to one another till the merge
Birds are always somewhat tricky in that regard. They may never become comfortable sharing a cage, and forcing them to do that will cause stress and tension. Or maybe they will become the best buddies or a loving couple. It's not something that can be predicted.
@@Skylemon2021 he will have the same cage as Mellow and will be next to each other. I'll have to take out some things in my living room to make some room, lol
If its another girl don't put them into the same cage, just keep the cages close but keep girls apart, you can check the tail feathers, if they have bars or markings its a girl, if its a boy, he should be singing by now
@@helenellsworth9556 he doesn't have bars under his tail and I just heard him whistle today so he's a male. I'm glad I was right and don't have to change his name lol
Wollem is just Mellow backwards! I love it! 😂🤍
parrots are very social. a friend for them is always a good try. ☺I love the name 😂
@@anjachan thank you, I like the name too. It was the first thing that came to mind haha.
Beautiful plummage ❤
@@Mictesting2233 thank you. It doesn't come out as good on camera. It's better in person. It's why I was initially drawn to him.

@@buoiii5737 It's all up to Mellow. I need to observe how she respond to having him around.
