Congrats, you did an amazing job on the design (and Powerslide as well, of course). Your joy about the new skates is truly contagious :D I'm happy to see more colors entering the inline skate world and to hear they were able to keep all the pros of the 2019 Evo. Just recently, I bought two sets of colorful laces for mine, one of them waxed as you recommended, and I'm curious about the effect.
That’s pretty slick there. 100% you. And based partly on your reviews I went ahead and got a pair of standard boots. After heat molding they are perfect. What a difference in feel and control! I upgraded from some Radon Phuzions that were sized up and always felt too loose. Was it too soon to upgrade? Maybe. I’m still learning. But I feel way more confident in these 2021 HC Evos.
I love the skates; but my top buckle with these new ones rattled so much I replaced them altogether with the SEBA spider buckles. But I know you can also use a screw lock glue to fix the issue.

Dude, on anyone else these would look crazy, but on you they look perfectly placed! 😁👌 I do really like the idea of the HC Evo, they look like a quality, performance skate, but that’s a lot of money! It’s the kind of money I’m seriously considering shelling out for a set of handmade Adapts. What’s your thoughts on these?
I have no personal experience with Adapt, but I am quite sure the cuff support and overall stiffness of the Evo is not anywhere near what the Adapt skates offer. I prefer the Evo because my style naturally has a lot of dance in it, and I want about medium stiffness as a result. If you’re wanting something super stiff and specific for hardcore city skating then you may want the Adapt. I think it boils down to whether you want something balanced for many purposes (Evo) or something specialized for specific tasks (Adapt).

Love my 2021 HC evos but didn't like the 3 x 90mm 225mm standard frame at all, just felt too short and unstable at speed ( rockered was awful ) Swapped it for the superb 4 x 84 Endless Trinity frame and haven't looked back, different beast altogether. Mine are all black with white waxed hockey laces ( 84 inch. ) Has to be waxed laces for me too.
Hmm, I just bought exactly this frame for my Next and I think it feels excellent and super manoeuvrable, especially fully rockered. Perfect for slalom and normal medium speed city skating.
@@FabiusPyromanus Nothin’ too special with it, man. I just wanted to use these frames because the wheelbase is pretty short, and my 110 wheels were in better condition. I’m waiting on some new UnderCover 125s for it right now.
Very nice colours! I've been tempted to get a powerslide custom as well, funnily enough with that purple colour, not the gold that's a bit much even for me. I must've made at least ten different mock ups of the USD Carbon on the PS website 😭 First video of yours I've seen, can never get enough rolling content so I've subbed 👊

Can't wait to see some clips on this setup. At 8:40 I noticed some strange glares in the lens. Is that from a lens guard or something else? What 360 camera were you using there? Cheers 🤜🏻🤛🏻
Thanks man! Yeah I need to replace the lens protectors. They’re scratched up and needed to be cleaned. It’s totally from them. When I use the camera without them it’s okay, but I don’t wanna skate without the guards on. Also, Insta360 One R.

I had the same issue. Had to replace the top buckle. I used the 45 buckle from a Next pair and fixed the issue.

The buckles are a flaw in the design. Mine make a huge mess when I skate on uneven surfaces. So it would have been better to keep the old design!

...the buckle swap on the HC EVO 2021 version was done for cost-cutting reasons, @@DeezSkates - I definitely prefer the previous ones.

My advice is don't bother using the Insoles with the new model, it makes it firm and uncomfortable compared to the boots footbed.
You can't really use insoles with the HC evo, your foot wouldn't fit in the boot.
@bill borez actually they come with insoles when you order from the custom shop, no idea why because they're awful!
@Moopylicious are they not Myfit, on my standard black 2021 evos you can't remove the insoles at all?
