Guide to heat molding HC Evo: 1. Preheat oven to 100ºC. 2. Prepare a chair to sit on, and a matt or carpet so frames dont slip on the floor. 3. Remove wheels and bearings from skate and loosen straps and buckles. 4. Put both skates in oven for 25 minutes. 5. Remove skates from oven and put them on asap, tightening the laces on both side first, then buckles on both sides. 6. Wear them till they cool, leaning forward in skate stance. 7. Take them off, leave overnight to properly set before skating. Or put them in the freezer to cool for 2-3 hours, then skate. 8. Put pizza in oven. 9. Remove Pizza. 10. Eat pizza. 11. Switch off oven.

Can you PLEASE clarify what temperature I should set for heatmolding this boot? Powerslide's website states "heatmoltable at 110°C, whereas several official channel videos recommend 80 to 90 degrees celsius. For how long should one keep the skates in the oven if heatmolding at 110°C? Thank you!

Hi, that is tricky. As per our sizing chart linked below, I would recommend that you for a size EU 41. An EU 40 with 255 mondo might just be too snug. d7rh5s3nxmpy4.cloudfront.net/CMP2909/files/908277_PS-HC-EVO_PRO_90_sizingchart.pdf

Hi , both are amazing to start with. It's more about your budget or the style you want. I know some skaters who also start with the best skate to get the best feeling and it's esier to find out if you like it or not.
HC evo is more of a urban boot but it's give a great push due to the carbon shell and great confort with nice padding. It's similar performance i think maybe you get more precise technique with HC evo.
Hi Karim, at PS we have 5 differents fit for our boots from narrow to wide. HC evo is the 2nd most narrow. It can work still after heatmolding but in your case we recommand to test thefit then.
from a scale of 1 to 5 , 1 being narrow and 5 being wide, we put SWELL at 2 and HC Evo at 2 also....so it should fit the same in width....in length it's the same also
...not entirely sure what this means, @@PowerslideInlineskates, but here's my real-world evidence on this matter. Width-wise, I normally take a "G" fit in my everyday shoes - this is wider than the "F" fit, which is considered the regular fit in the UK. For my PS HC Evo Pros, I took the same size as my real-world shoes and, after one heat-moulding session, they fit like a glove. In other words, the width isn't a problem as the boot can easily be heat-moulded to adjust to the contours of each foot. The resulting fit is unbelievably comfortable. Superb job, Powerslide.
Hallo; what is the difference between the high heel offered with the Evo pro and flat with the Tau? Which one is better and which is more comfortable for long distance and foot fatigue? Comparing the evo pro and tau to the next which one is more comfortable for free ride?
Evo pro and Tau offer a natural heel rise from the last (shape of the boots). Generally HC evo Pro is the creme dela creme and suit nicely long distance skating time. HC evo and Tau VS Next : the main difference is carbon shell VS hard plastic shell. May be next is more comfortable as it's less precise then an HC evo.
So you have skated for years in the previous version of this model and now that you hold the MY21, no consideration on the difference (if any) between both? Apparently the upgrade is pretty "unworthy" but at least, please, check them out and give an honest review. E.g. Powerslide trashed out the leather for a more "economic" (?) mesh breathable material... what's your feedback about it?
Powerslide has never used nautral leather, just PU leather. So it's a swap from synthetic material to other synthetic material. The mesh upper is modeled after high end running shoes to increase airflow - one of things people were complaining about in previous versions. Some people may not like the change, but objectively it is a change for the better, improving comfort.

As I've said to others in the past, don't believe that hype about it being THAT lower to the ground, the front mounts extend below the bottom edge of the boot. All in all, trinity is only a more secure mount, not a lower one.
Hi, the HC Evo Pro skates with out Trinity mounting feature, therefore the traditional dual mount frames, unfortunately, cannot be used on these boots.
I'm afraid if I fall regularly with these skates, the liner on top will be damaged (I've had this happen with a number of other models). Since the liner is not replaceable, this is a major problem. Does anyone have experience with this?
HC EVO is a high range model made with resistant material usually used with expert skater, not that anybody can't jump directly on those. Anyway we never had complain of damaged upper that couldn't resist properly to daily use.
