For these kind of animations, I also uncheck the shadows parameters for each scene. That way, you can set the sun position in the first scene and then the others will have the same shadow settings. Cool location, by the way!
i don't get why sketch up devs are so lazy. they should make dark mode, proper object animation, change delay and transition time for each scenes, etc. keyframe is scam, u had to pay for such makin animations and fredo6 performance is so bad, it runs so slow even tho it didn't cost much ram, processor, or anything.

The second method would be a good way to have wheels turning or flags waving with just a few scenes.
