Yes the silverback who heads the troop does have exclusive mating rights with his females but in very rare occasions he may decide to allow a brother to mate with a new female taken from another troop if he n his brother are very closely bonded n he helped him to overthrow the other silverback to take over his troop. In some occasions a female may sneak off n mate with the alpha n a subordinate silverback to make both of them think they’re the father for extra protection of her offspring, but god help both of them if they get caught !
