sir..while applying live load ...don't v have to change to "add to existing load " instead of "replace existing load" ....as dead load is already applied
Thanks for the video, I instantly subscribed to your channel. Why did you assign the wall loads only in those specific frames? Why isn't it assigned on the roof? One more thing, is masonry the only type of super dead load in that structure? why?
How to assign for the parapet walls as the beam under selection is full while the parapet walls are only on the boundary.? Please explain. Thanks for the Video
udl=width of wallXdensity of wallXheight of wall (width is normally 20cm...and density is 20kN/m3 and height is floor to floor height minus beam depth)
thank you for this tutorials i followed every step that you did , during the analyze i had 1 warning message: Warning: Check meshing, At Story1 area F22 ( 0.58% Increment) i couldn't resolve it , can you tell me how? thanks again
Dear bro...while assigning load on the top slab for water tank....how did u convert litre to kN....you have designed for 10000 litres but 1 l= 0.024kN but u have assigned 25kN...how this conversion came...
Dear sir, Thank you for providing lessons. sir how to apply LIFT (Elevator) loads? kindly clear the doubt by upload one more Video with example loading.
sir..while applying live load ...don't v have to change to "add to existing load " instead of "replace existing load" ....as dead load is already applied
It will only replace that same type of load. If you assign a dead load for example and click replace, it won't replace a live load, only an existing dead load.
Perfect explanation of the software, Thanks
really appericiate your work..plzz keep on uploading and help us learn more
thank you very much for sharing , much appreciated
Welcome to our channel
2:30 why you gave -25 ? Not positive 25 ?
Thank you so much
Thanks for your nice tutorials on Etabs 2015. Will you make have any tutorials on Staad pro?
How did you select those values for dead loads?
plz upload video for lift design and shear wall
nice video ..one thing i don't understand why we gave dead load at slab and staircase portion if it is self weight ,is it superimposed dead load.
+shishir pandey superimposed dead load
Sir why Dead load is 1.5 and from which provision it taken
at 7.04 how did you get the similar properties option back? once i start applying wall loads the option sort of goes away. Help me.
Respected sir,
do we require to define self weight of elements ?
do we require to assign self weight of slab member under dead load category?
+Kishan Aghera no...self wt is assigned as default
no need ..it is taken by the factor 1 given in deadload
How to know how much quadrilateral you must divide for meshing
sir..while applying live load ...don't v have to change to "add to existing load " instead of "replace existing load" ....as dead load is already applied

Why did you assign the wall loads only in those specific frames?
Why isn't it assigned on the roof?
One more thing, is masonry the only type of super dead load in that structure? why?
+Pedro Ortiz it depends in the structure...in roof I have only assigned parapet loads..u hav assign wall loads depending on the structure

How to assign for the parapet walls as the beam under selection is full while the parapet walls are only on the boundary.?
Please explain.
Thanks for the Video
+Ankur Dubey calculate the load/m of the parapet wall and assign that load on the beam as udl...
Kindly tell me how to assign it .as the beam has to be broken into two parts for the top floor in your video Please correct me .
how do we know the number of mesh required per slab? is it safe to use 1m x 1m mesh?
Please help me to get Etab 2015.
kindly tell the procedure to add self weight of the whole structure also. How do we apply self weight to building?
it is laready included in deadloads,...make sure to put factor 1 for self weight in deadload
Sir plzz made a video on analysis of slab with layer ,membrane , thik and thin shell and when and where it use?
How did u calculate the wall udl load on the structure...
udl=width of wallXdensity of wallXheight of wall (width is normally 20cm...and density is 20kN/m3 and height is floor to floor height minus beam depth)
Thanks for the video, can you give an example for round or curve beam.
Thanks
how to control deflection in high rise buildings using deflection target command. I tried but does not work.
what is meshing and why it needs to be done?
+atif nawaz better distribution of slab load
it is taken automatically in etabs 2015
Please share a video on foundation design in SAFE exporting data from ETABS
Thanks, please how to apply DL and LL on liftcore
When to assign slabs and when to assign memberane?
+Atul S (Engineer) assign membrane for thin slabs of frame struct
if you assign membrane no torsion will be induced in the supporting beam...whereas thin shell and thick shell options introduce torsion to beams
How to calculate total weight of the structure in etabs.
where is the third one?
+pzneupa 3rd n 4th tutorials for beginners has been uploaded...
a big thanks
thank you for this tutorials
i followed every step that you did , during the analyze i had 1 warning message:

thanks again
+Derder Asma reassign the slab tat shows the pblm n mesh again

Dear sir, Thank you for providing lessons. sir how to apply LIFT (Elevator) loads? kindly clear the doubt by upload one more Video with example loading.
+prasad 1 U can apply the load as point load on the columns supporting the lift or as a udl in lift slab
Thanks for your kind reply. please send the video or etabs file with only Lift loading. because i have confused it..
and at lift area no slab because its having opening. so kindly send me.
You skip too many steps like designing the top floor and car port, etc.
+William Bader Too many steps? Can u mention some..?
sir..while applying live load ...don't v have to change to "add to existing load " instead of "replace existing load" ....as dead load is already applied
no...that is for liveload...it doesnt replace deadloads
It will only replace that same type of load. If you assign a dead load for example and click replace, it won't replace a live load, only an existing dead load.
