please make a video on how to design basement wall or retaining wall in etabs or safe. I tried but etabs treats vertical shells as shear walls and designs for shear wall. how to get etabs to treat vertical shells as slabs and make it design for out of plane forces? I can't even draw design strips for walls.
i have a question if column is not at the center of footing( if a column is not in the middle of an isolated footing ) how to proper design this type of column in safe with analysis (column start at the edge of footing not in center ) near footing column
Nice video...Sir/madam, I was a bit confused in SBC part. The value we've considered incorporates Factor of Safety. However, the values shown in the bearing pressure in safe has not incorporated FOS, I assume...So should this scale be multiplied by FOS & compared thereafter? Plz reply...I shall be highly thankful...I am pretty much confused in this
