Purchased the full course for our business which is service based, B2B. We have extensive SEO and traffic building knowledge previous to your course. I purchased your course in order to learn how to make the most of the visits we get - improved conversions - your course opened my eyes to what is possible and I have already rewritten the homepage for our site and it is night and day. Amazing information and incredible knowledge and skill. I recommend your course to anyone who will listen. You provide incredible, quality recommendations. I will update once we have numbers in terms of growth. But I already see the home run.
I've been watching Wes's videos for over a year. Finally got his course. Wish I would have done it long ago. I've built more than 100 websites for myself, friends and clients... Wes just made it so easy I can build them in just a couple of days vs the weeks it took before. Thanks Wes!!!
Hi Wes, your videos are by far the most usefull I have ever seen on UA-cam, its helping me a ton and I have been watching already a lot of them in the last few days, really well done, great value! Keep up the great work!
Wes. In your course you detail the solutions section after the problem section, but here at 8:20 you talk about introducing yourself or a mini about section. How does this fit into the layout you describe in the corse?
You detail the problems, then the solutions, then you add a mini "about" summary. On your About page is where you can add more details that you'd like to share (so the homepage isn't overwhelming and filled with too much info).
I have a question do you have a video about how I write what led me to starting the business? Like what do I write in my backstory as the founder of the business. I noticed people uses that in their about us page. But I don't want to put in it the about us section.
i just watched your video [Single Page Website Tutorial | The Easiest 1-Page Website Ever, Step-by-Step!] and i have a question regarding that video . can i add a referral system to the website. if yes, how do i do it? if you have a video guidance would you direct me to it so that i can also watch it and use the information in it
Great video! Love the comparison with the imagenary suations - makes it easier to comprehend. Just like we have an easy to navigate website now ;) Cheers, Max
I see most of the gurus except you who keep swinging their asses in the air instead of delivering straight to the point info. Im glad i found your channel.
Excellent content as always! As Donald Miller would also say - if you confuse, you lose. I know I also like to take a conversion-based approach to website design.
I need to rebuild our website. We are using wild apricot because we are a membership based business. We hold monthly meetings and people can pay by the meeting or get an annual membership at various levels. Is the web site development program suited for this type of business - keeping up with membership and expiration dates and the credit card processing?
Hey Wes do u have tutorial about how to sell websites? How to get paid? Do i use a contract? Things of that sort? Oh yeah thank for your master class .... awesome!
Not at all... ppl looking to DIY it weren't your clients to begin with. Some ppl want to hire stuff out, others want to do it themselves. I don't believe in gatekeeping education simply to "keep designers in business."
A/B test it - one month for each and see what happens. Sometimes people like to see everything up front, others can be converted in the DMs/calls/emails.
Incredible value as always, thank you! Side note: your video editing and layout/process is always top-notch.🤌 Have you ever done (or do you plan to do?) a how-to video about your process, equipment, the software you use for your overlays, transitions, how you combine the camera vs screengrabs, etc etc? It's always excellent. I'm about to pivot my channel into something new and start making videos where I'll need to combine all sorts of media like that, so I'm trying to learn as much as possible. :)

Thanks, Wes. You are a gifted teacher.
I also like your thumbnails, clear advice, simple delivery. Very appreciated. Binge watching. You should have many more subscribers and views.
Hi Wes. Do you (or will you) have a masterclass for products based businesses?
Hi there - We don't have plans for that at this time
Thanks Wes! You're videos have been a great help to, but that last point really nailed it!
Glad it helped!
Thank you very much for very useful information 👍😊

Clear simple language! True.
Thanks for your great helpful videos Wes. Your hard work is appreciated.
Thank you!
Hi Wes, do you have a masterclass training for product-based e-commerce businesses as well? Thanks!
I run an auto detailing business. Would it be more beneficial to have only a landing page? Or a full website?
You could do a simple 1 pager if you wanted to, just make sure it has all the info someone would need. cheers!
Clients want result, not promise.
Thanks for sharing! ♥
So true!

Another banger. Thanks for your wisdom Wes!

The text heavy mcD menu had me cracking up!!! 🤣

Glad you like it!
I'm watching this video to improve the website for my restaurant 😅
Need a hand to make it?

You mean the profitable website launchpad? Its more for service businesses, not memberships actually.
@@WesMcDowellInc yes, that’s the one! Drats! Learn a lot from your video! Thanks

I don't philip, this channel isnt really geared toward web pros, but to the service biz owners themselves. sorry!
Are you still running an agency Wes?
Nope, just concentrating on the education stuff these days. cheers!
top!
Jeepers those bananas are cheap.

I just realized this is all about putting us drsigners out of business.
There's too many people in the world for that to ever happen. We will always need designers!
@@LM-xz1rc you just don't know how encouraged that made me feel. That meant a lot, thank you.

Should I show the price of my service packages on the website or tell them privately through a call/email/DM?
