This video was exactly what I needed to build my product. As a social media strategist in Brazil I see lots of people struggling creating posts without knowing what they are doing or why they are doing it. Thank you for breaking it down for us ❤
Wow Wes - I have been following you for almost 12 months and as an older web designer I find your frank style absolutely great. This is without a doubt the best piece of advice that I have seen this year; absolutely brilliant! I just wish that I was 20 years younger - Merry Xmas from DownUnder keep the content rolling!!!
This one is definitely going in my watchlist to be re-watched 4 times to help curb the forgetfulness curve. ;) Thanks for this useful content, and hopefully I'll be booking a call with you in 2024 for some strategic planning.
@@WesMcDowellInc sorry to hear you are closing the coaching. I’m excited for you though as I’m sure there’s something even more fulfilling that will be the content of your attention.
Any tips on marketing to investors, instead of customers? im in real estate and construction!! great content, consise, entertaining and informative edit: i hadnt watched this video yet !! you talk about it ! yay
Hey Wes! I’ve loved your videos after finding you last month! How would this look if I have a Social Media Marketing Agency? I’ve worked solely with small business and Non-Profits, being that I played professional basketball I usually attract sports driven businesses. What would you suggest?
Thanks for watching! I can't really give you specifics but just concentrate on the types of content in the video, its all super applicable to your business.
New business starting up (luckily it’s a service I’ve been providing for 3 businesses as a productized service for 6 months) But finally building a site and ready to launch. If you had to choose, and maybe you answered this other places with your thoughts on social media vs website content. I’m looking to know where to focus initially
Definitely focus on getting your website up first, then Id forget "social media" content and focus hard on UA-cam. embed your videos on your site in blog posts.
The biggest question I had going into content marketing was .. "How do you come up with fresh new content on a regular schedule for years and years?" While the tips in this video are great, they don't answer this question. Opinion pieces are easy, but how many blog posts can you write on who you work with, the value your service offers, or how to think about pricing?
I think this sets up some unneeded stress to have the expectation of years of content right out of the gate. I think a better goal is just planning consistent content, and that can be determined by your own standard. Maybe two videos a month fits your schedule. You can double up, and make a monthly blog post recapping your content. As a photographer, a series of your favorite photos of the month in a short video with shoutouts to businesses and models/people in those photos is a great networking tool. This is just one outlet to help churn out ideas. Other ideas might pop up with things you notice while on the job, questions subscribers or customers ask you all the time, and plain ol’ advice that you might realize isn’t preached enough.
Do you don’t need to keep creating new content. If you cover all of your bases and ensure you are knocking each article out of the park with SEO, you will be fine.

Hi, dear, I hope you are well. I saw that your UA-cam videos are very lovely and very helpful. You have enough of the videos but your video is not getting views because there is some problem with your videos. Your SEO score is very poor (0% out of 100)and you need optimization for better results. If you update the videos then the views of the video will increase. If you want you can discuss with me. Thanks.

I really like this system. Thanks, Wes! Did I miss the 8th content type?
Ah yea it looks like something was eliminated while scripting but it still references 8 in the beginning. sorry bout that!

Whats your take on doing blog posts about previously created videos and putting them on that blog page. ?
You men putting the old video on the new blog page that's rehashing the video? It's solid.
Yes I know you talk about giving the personal touch on blogs post for seo I believe adding personal videos can accomplish it,
Thanks for your input

Do you know anything about gpt 5 and q star AI? I’m asking you because I want to chat not because I like this video you made.

I don’t go for search on every video farid. Homepage traffic is almost always better.
Sticky headers and desperate book now buttons are just bad design principles to be spreading as "advice".
You’re right, no cta buttons… that’s just what your customers would expect. 😂
Gold Wes...Gold! 👍🏻🙂💰🪙🎯
Thanks Patrick!
