I am 15 minutes into the video, and it took me about an hour to get here. I am brain-storming ideas already while watching the video. Wes, if this does not work, nothing will! :D Thanks for the video
Great work Wes! I’ve noticed lately you’ve been giving all the value you possibly can and not keeping anything secret. It’s been such an improvement! And it’s why I recommend you often. Keep up the amazing work! thank you!
honestly, i've been a coach for 4+ years and you sir! have given me so much straight to the point info and WHY it matters, i love the stats you give too. i took notes on your landing page and going to put it to work. Sales page is next!! Thank you sooo much. Not going to think about all the money WASTED on the other pro marketing bro "gurus"".. nope not thinink about itttt!!
You should do a video on making mobile version of landing pages. These days 60-70% traffic come from mobiles. Yet there is hardly any content on UA-cam talking specifically about that. Pretty much everyone just talk about the landscape/desktop version of their landing pages. Is it because desktop version of landing pages are prettier and get more clicks on UA-cam?
@@WesMcDowellInc Yes i was thinking the same. My 95% traffic is mobile. So flow part is really sorted. I feel the sections look beautiful in desktop version, than mobile (& more efficient). For example. Last section: we need two sections in mobile view than just 1 in desketop (left & right parts), one calendly embed, and then the CTA (with the text above it). Thanks Wes for this. Its awesome!
I have 2 thoughts on this: 1. I agree that most videos are recorded/explained on desktop. But that's probably because most screenshot video tools are designed for desktop, since it's an easier way to explain things for the teacher. Plus, most content creators put their cameras above their screen so they face them. 2. If you're curious what Wes believes is the best mobile landing page format, simply look at his landing page on your mobile device.
Thanks Bobby! I'm actually rewatching our interview right now, currently FINALY planning out that video. Should drop in December! I think its gonna be amazing, thanks again for doing it!
StoryBrand is really overrated as a framework and honest to God completely rips off The Hero With a Thousand Faces by Joseph Campbell. Sure, there is novelty in applying it to the world of business instead of fiction but it's still overrated as a marketing "plan". Miller sells coaches on how to grow a coaching business. Strikes me a lot like pick axe salespeople who sell to people addicted to the gold rush dream.
Thank you for this explanation…. I have known my website needs updating for quite awhile but felt completely unclear as to the what and how to develop the changes. Everything you showed made perfect sense…. Now all I have to do is adapt your suggested template to my biz. All the best…Greg
