Your photos really get to me! You have a great eye for composition and timing, and an awesome taste for color palette. Keep it going because your content is going to get its well deserved attention very soon.
Man this was therapeutic asf. The ASMR of the shutter button sound effect, the calm music, and good vibes of just walking around. Nearly fell asleep in my chair becuase of how relaxed I was lol
I love these man I’m totally binge watching currently and finding so much motivation in these to go downtown and tell a story through photos about my city. 🤙🏻
What I really like about this guy's street photography is that his photos actually tell me stories, unlike some others "youtuber" or "instagram" photographer, whose photos are just bokeh and tricks thats unrealistic and cliche. Thanks for the good content!
Thanks. Your approach to all that I have seen so far is encouraging to me and allows me to venture out. Thanks for that encouragement. You aren’t critical. You seem to want all to grow. Thanks
Hi Faisal, thanks for taking us on this photowalk. I subscribed after your street photography tips and this POV put so much of that advice into practice, no commentary needed. Some wonderful images here, particularly the creative use of reflections. Now to catch up on your previous videos. Please keep them coming.
I absolutely love your images. The pov video’s are fantastic too. It’s like I’m wandering around Boston with you, but I’m in England. I can tell I’m in England because it’s raining lol. Anyway, great work and thanks 👍🏻
I've always loved the visual arts, and as my partner and I keep working on our UA-cam vlog (Vaan's World), I've been wanting to try photography myself, but had been too scared to really start. Your video is inspiring to me and I'm excited to go out and capture stories with my x100f soon. Thank you so much!
Faizal, Thanks for this video. I live in Downtown Crossing and love doing street photography in other cities around the world, not so much Boston . You basically walked me through my neighborhood in this video and opened my eyes to see it in a totally new light. Thanks so much. Love you video style, laid back, clear, well done. I have a group that does contemplative street photography definitely going to share you site with them.
aa i'm so glad u got this shot! 9:00 I saw him in the corner of my eye and I thought that chance of taking a photo of him was gone, but aa it turned out so nice
Gotta be the coolest and really helpful street photography guides out there. Makes me wanna grab my camera right now and get the hell out of my room. I'LL DO THIS TOMORROW DEFINITELY.
How do you take pictures without anyone noticing?? I always get shy taking a shot because people usually get self-conscious whenever I try to take their pic.
Haha! Most of the time they do :). I am shy myself, but after every shot I am reminded that everything is fine in the end. Don’t over think it! Listening to music can help too!
Using a silent shooting mode on your camera if possible helps. Also, if hold the camera up before someone moves into the frame and then continue to hold it up to your eye after you've made your shot and they've walked through. Almost like you're waiting for them to pass to take the photo even though you've already taken it. They will be less sure that you've taken a photo of them and will be less likely to confront you.
AliOfNeverland what helps me is to put on earphones/headphones. For whatever reason I feel like there is a social barrier when I put them on, it feels less personal and people are less likely to confront. Especially if you act like your on a phone call with someone lol
Is there any chance you can share the settings (ISO, shutter, aperture) used on the photos you show in these kinds of videos? It would be super helpful for people starting out to get and idea. I recently found your channel and love it.
Switching from nikon to fujifilm, I'm trying to decide which camera to buy! first, i will definitely buy a x-t1 at some point, Great video excellent photos too. Im hooked 👍
Very nice photos and loved the pov style video. One thing that struck my mind is I'd have loved to keep half of the red truck at 6:43 in one of the photos.
Superb...... I'm addicted to POV Street Photography.... 😀👍 Subscribed.....Great images my friend... appreciated so much more by seeing the scene as you saw it... and then the image. So good.... it really connects with me. All the best... regards... Steve
Awesome video. I had a lot of fun trying to preempt the photos you were going to take. Great learning experience comparing the photos I think I would've taken with the ones you ended up taking!
Super good stuff, man. Great images. I picked up an x100f to keep as my hobby / street cam and it's quickly become my favorite camera I've ever shot on. Are you using Fuji''s film styles or shooting raw?
Nice trick at 7:03 I saw it in your tips for street photography video, "holding the camera to your eye after the person move out of frame" I wouldn't have been able to confront that guy after the look he gave to your camera!
Great video! I'm just starting my X100F journey and the amount of suggestions I find here on UA-cam is baffling me. Some suggest RAW over JPEG, some greatly avoid A priority in favor of only shooting manual, some strongly criticize single-point AF or spot metering and others swear by them. So my question is: what settings do you feel most comfortable shooting with? Cheers
Thank you! Yup, everyone is going to say something different, and I probably will too. It all boils down to what works best for you. I find that I like to have full control so I shoot manual, but if I want to let my camera do more of the work I'll switch to Aperature priority. Usually I stick to spot metering and I always shoot RAW because I know I am going to edit myself. PS: I got a video on this coming out tomorrow :)
This POV video really felt like I was playing some "street photographer" video game (both the angle of the go pro cam, as well as the music itself contributed to that) :D Nice video, btw, and thanks for sharing!
do you have a tutorial on using/adjusting the x100f settings and editing in lightroom to get shots like this? these shots are just incredible and i need help 🥺
Really enjoying your video series! I shoot street photography on a Fuji as well but I’m having trouble tracking my subjects. Do you lock focus and wait for the subject to enter the focus box? Your focus seems to always be on point. Thanks for the help!
A bit of info on your technique would be appreciated. For instance do you une zone focus and if so how is it implemented on x100f? Love you videos and your teaching style btw.

Yea, the colors are awesome, do you use presets?
Man this was therapeutic asf. The ASMR of the shutter button sound effect, the calm music, and good vibes of just walking around. Nearly fell asleep in my chair becuase of how relaxed I was lol

It’s so refreshing to see someone nailing street photography without an M6! Your photos are amazing man. Also what lens hood are you using?
I absolutely love your images. The pov video’s are fantastic too. It’s like I’m wandering around Boston with you, but I’m in England. I can tell I’m in England because it’s raining lol. Anyway, great work and thanks 👍🏻

What a awesome photograpy!!!!!
Hi Faizal. Great content. Do you have recommendations for a cheaper alternative for X100F?
Celine T Maybe XT20
@@ellvisrdo thanks!
@Himanshu Soni cool thanks!
Miss these POV videos. Can’t wait to see all the post pandemic 100v videos.
Love the strap you used here. Can't find it on your list of gears though.
Would love to know this as well
Beautiful photography!
This POV video really felt like I was playing some "street photographer" video game (both the angle of the go pro cam, as well as the music itself contributed to that) :D
Nice video, btw, and thanks for sharing!
Great work bro!
those shots are great!
Great shots! The black-and-whites are to die for. Curious: did you process raw files or did you use the built-in film simulations?
do you have a tutorial on using/adjusting the x100f settings and editing in lightroom to get shots like this? these shots are just incredible and i need help 🥺
oops, found it. 😂
amazing pictures, I love it
Hi! This is a great video🙌🏻 love all the pictures and I really enjoy the POV of the process. Anyway, what lens did you use here? 😄🙏🏻
I was waiting for the shutter sound lol it sounds very relaxing
First time I run into your videos man. Can’t wait to see more. Are you manual focusing? Coming from a Sony user we are spoiled with autofocus.
Really enjoying your video series! I shoot street photography on a Fuji as well but I’m having trouble tracking my subjects. Do you lock focus and wait for the subject to enter the focus box? Your focus seems to always be on point. Thanks for the help!
I usually use single point af. I focus to where I know my subject is going to end up and then I take it!
Amazing shots! Willing to know which lens you are using.
黎铭鹏 Its fixed lens on fuji x100f, 23mm which equivalent to 35mm fullframe
Great videos! I like the way you make your feed. And for sure a very good street skill. Good luck with channel!
Thanks for the kind words!
That’s awesome
A bit of info on your technique would be appreciated. For instance do you une zone focus and if so how is it implemented on x100f? Love you videos and your teaching style btw.
Do you shoot in burst? Or just single shots, seems too well-timed!
kinklez look at 3:11
@@brunocarneiro3065 ah so it is burst! Thank you!
