I thought this was an easier way to get the white Yoshi. It is actually possible to get a white Yoshi, but it requires a very difficult and exact glitch to perform. I remember performing this glitch on an original cartridge, but it took me hundreds of tries.
Faster and easier way to do this is to jump with Yoshi on the first row with Koopa Troopas on Yoshi's Island 2 in this order (from the left) - 1 3 2 4 6 5 8 7, and jump of Yoshi imediatly after hitting number 7. Sometimes you can get the raindow yoshi if you're lucky.
On decompiling Mario64 they found the code dummied out and were able to put it back, resulting in a simultaneous two player game. This required rebuilding the decompiled code with a newer compiler with better optimizations to get playable performance out of it. However Luigi looks exactly like Mario. No separate Luigi sprite exists in the game assets.

No, Just a mod. But is possible make a glitch in original game and get the silver Yoshi. Search the video from Noise de Gole about this. He have a good and easy setup for make this yoshi in original game.

I thought the only way to unlock white (super) Yoshi was to collect ALL of the Yoshi coins. Then you got to use white yoshi in the second quest.
