11 years ago I made a video featuring a Super Mario World level made with Lunar Magic, with a download link to the patch. I have since lost the patch, which people have asked for, so I remade it with improvements to both the level and the video.
To patch this onto your Super Mario World ROM, you will have to download Lunar IPS, linked below. I can't link the ROM but let me know in the comments if you have a problem.
I use the SNES9x emulator. It is legal to emulate this game as long as you owned it at some point. Look for USB SNES controllers online if you want a more nostalgic experience, I found two for $10 myself.

Before I realized this was a hack I was 5 seconds from driving to my parents house and digging out the old Super Nintendo
It’s actually not a hack it’s real but you need cheat codes. I’m currently trying to figure out what it is tho lol so if I find it I’ll let you know.

Haha nice, that's pretty cool. However I did come in expecting an actual secret, once you went to Yoshi's house and jumped up to the chimney I was like oh... It's gotta be a hack. I've explored it a few times myself in my childhood haha.
True gamers figured we beat the whole game but watched just in case.
I have an original cartridge of this game, so I would know if this were real or not, but honestly, having the chimney on Yoshi’s house function like a warp pipe feels like something that Nintendo would actually do.
I have played this game many times and I never knew this. Just yesterday I found out their is a silver yoshi and a golden yoshi in the game. This game has more secrets than than Area 51.
It's not real, it's a hack. There's no secret Yoshi level.

You have to do a glitch to get silver and gold Yoshi and golden Yoshi can't exist outside the world screen there is also glitch Yoshi which is purple or pink I'm not sure k

Blue Yoshi had the most sweet advantage: He can fly, no natter what color of shell got in his mouth.

Well yeah, that's pretty much what the different colours are about. No matter which color of shell they get in their mouths...
- Blue Yoshi will fly
- Red Yoshi will spit fire
- Yellow Yoshi will stomp
And of course different colors of Yoshi and shells can lead to interesting combinations.
Nevertheless, it has been evidenced different colors of Yoshi are not actually Yoshi, but his buddies, other Yoshi-like creatures with different names.

Nah in my childhood I’ve explored SMW for countless hours trying to find secrets. Specially Yoshis House. I’ve tried this exact thing too. This has to be a hack.

For a second I was like ¡¿WHAT?! but then I remembered Super Mario World has 96 levels and the game keeps track of your progress towards that number.
Imagine making this hacked level, and not realizing it's a hell of a lot easier to just get the Yoshi baby to eat a Star to fully grow instantly

After you beat the special world inside of star world literally just did that.

Honestly I just played the special Nintendo Online snes game to get it
that world is actually just a seasonal shift. the game normally takes place in summer. when you unlock that by beating star road / special world, everything turns to autumn. and the now-masked koopas (and other enemies wearing other things) are all dressed in their halloween costumes.

@@FreeAimDogthey have rom dumps, and that's where the hacking scene comes into play.
This video only scratches the surface of what is possible hacking the game now, like custom graphics, enemies, music, bosses, backgrounds, etc.

From what I remember, Yoshi has to eat 3 things to grow, not 4. And a 1up will make him grow immediately. Nice troll, but it's the little things that stand out.

I already it was fake the second you went in the chimney lol. I tried it myself back in the 90’s, I can easily debunked it.
But I kept watching what fun stuff put in to.
That said, apparently video games including Mario World may hold a secret that still has been uncovered yet. Or even older versions of the copy before stealthy releasing different versions out.
Until the stairs appeared, I was legitimately shocked, you could go down the chimney. Like the multiplayer in super punch out.

So many years later I still remembered what each color Yoshi does. Wow.
That "What kind of magic is this'" type of comment is what gives it away as not being in the OG game cuz it sounds more recent than it, as well as implying that this was a super secret. It would've been found way earlier if it was real.

This is a patch made for Mario World. NOT base game. That's why there are glitches for the berries and the text for the hidden level

For the people that are saying "tHiS iS fAkE iT dOeSn'T wOrK blah blah blah" it is literally saying in the description it is a ROM hack and it doesn't work in the original game.

I have a false memory that there was a level between Yoshi's Island 1 and Yellow switch palace in the waterfall.
Me too. And it had a surfboard you could ride.
The secret area is at the ghost house, as you cross the water straight, use the flying cape inside the ghost house, at the beginning, fly up amd continue, you'll unlock it. It has 5 blocks, the left and right has the same, both gives mushrooms if small but when big, the left gives flowers amd thebright the capes, in the middle isnthe green youshi, on the gba port, the blue youshi is there instead.
I remember something like that too when I was younger.

I swear back when the snes came out and they had the store displays. Someone had found a secret level I have never seen anyone else find. I think the third koopa kid castle that Mario launches like rocket and it makes the band-aid on the mountain. That band-aid is a secret level. It's another castle. Someone had found out how to make the path up there and I saw it while I was playing it in the store. I have never figured out how to get up there. If I'm remembering wrong then it's the Mandela effect because I swear I remember seeing that there was a secret level on that band-aid. Does anyone else remember anything similar?

@@Thegamingking-q4f was SNES your first system? Because there's always that learning curve. I noticed people who's first system was a modern system, they are used to more buttons and knobs, so it's easier to use a controller with less buttons. But if you've never played games before you still have to build that muscle memory. I had trouble moving up because I wasn't used to using both thumbs. So I had problems with dropping the controller. It took a while to learn a new grip. I still can't use an arcade stick.

When baby Yoshi eats the 1up mushrooms. While he had to eat 5 enemies or fruit to grow, it took only one powerup.
I make rom hacks using lunar magic. This level does not exist.

It's fake. No way would Nintendo put a secret like that in the game. Plus, the text box at the start of the level doesn't read like Nintendo's work. It's fake and it wasn't even well produced.

Playing in the past with friends fun. UA-cam spoil gaming. It easy to look what to do in games which takes a lot of the fun from the game. I remember playing zelda breath of the wild. I made the mistake and look up whenever am stuck

I played this game a billion times since I was a kid and never knew about this LOL.
It works on the original cartridge. I booted it up and tried it yesterday. So, if it works on a non-modded SNES, then why are you calling it a mod?
@@zach11241 No it doesn't. This is blatantly fake. Even without the shoddily made text box, there's no way Nintendo would have given players the ability to easily acquire the alternate Yoshis _and_ freely farm lives as soon as they clear Yoshi's Island 2.
