It’s so nice to see the various stages of a baby elephant. Seems like yesterday Khanyisa was tiny like Phabeni. In just a few years he’ll be that size, maybe even a bit bigger. She’s the big sister now, like Timisa was with her. ❤🐘
They are wonderful! It's amazing how they all lovingly compete to take care of Phabeni, while he runs around to choose who will be the Auntie of the day.
It seems like Setombe knows that the baby needs to be in the nursery at night for his warm bed and bottles but it’s hard for her to let him go. They have bonded so quickly and completely. This video brought me so much joy.
Such a cute video. When Khanyisa is munching on something tasty, she can't be easily distracted unless she hears Adine. But the way Phabeni was watching her was a good lesson on how to twist the grass, pull it out with the trunk and eat it. Khanyisa is displaying some wonderful sisterly behaviors, and this is heartwarming. I was happy to see Pisa and Timi come on over and once again Bubi accompanying Seuntjie and Lundi. Perhaps Bubi will become just a bit more relaxed once she gets to be with Phabeni alone. Setombe is being so gracious, yet at the same time protective. It seems like the whole HERD is now relaxed with Phabeni and with his delightful personality, he'll charm the socks off of all he meets~

It has been a wonderful journey - I was not watching when Khanisa was introduced so this has been a heart and soul journey for me. It is a honor to watch and learn. Thank you for taking us along.
I still go back and watch those older videos sometimes. I understand so much more about their behaviors than I did 4 years ago when our pink ptincess arrived. Khanyisa was just so tiny and with very serious wounds around her mouth and ear from that #*×! snare. It was much more difficult for her to suckle & feed until they completely healed up. Phabeni was introduced more quickly.
You can almost hear Phabeni saying, 'I want my Mama not your marulas" while he keeps dropping them 😀😀... oh, poor baby, he and Khanyisa have had so much trauma in their young lives 😪😪 Thank God for HERD and wonderful Adine and the compassionate Carers 🤗🤗❤❤ They are the life savers of God's amazing creatures the gentle giant elephants 🙏🙏🐘🐘
This was a lovely delightful video. Phabeni is shining now as he has crept into many hearts. I rather watch Herd Orphanage videos that DSTV. Best series by far with real real super stars. Adine you draw us in as you showcase the elephant's individually so well that we connect with their personalities. Then how they are as a herd and each elllie has a role. Well Done Adine and to the team you lead with such respect & kimdness. You show your appreciation for each team member and their skills. All great, fantastic leadership skills. RESPECT! 🤗
I agree with you. For me, HERD videos are way better than the shows on television and the movies even. I have to watch every single video at least 3 times, and every single time is time well- spent. This is real life storytelling where everyone is a protagonist❤🐘❤... with a little bit of mischief from some.😅😅😅
I love this channel it brings me such joy. The way you speak to the babies is wonderful. Phabeni is so happy. He knows he is special. The way he runs up to his adoptive mother and nurses, he is something else. Thank you for all you do. May all good things come to you and the staff.
Phabeni is such an amazing ele. He has learned to use his trunk quickly and it explains how he might have survived on his own for a while. Perhaps baptism by fire. It amazes me he is so healthy and happy!
It's lovely to see that all the elephants have embraced Phabeni into the group ... and it seems that having a little boy elephants has brought a new dynamic into their family. It's almost like in a family of a lot of females, the new baby boy gets so much attention and love from every member of the family !! How marvelous is that !!!
This is real life storytelling where everyone is a protagonist❤🐘❤... with a little bit of mischief from some.😅😅😅
Watching him flop down in the sand for a bath is adorable! He's doing so well integrating into his 🐘 family, surrounded by ❤!
🥰 Quelle chance vous avez de vive ces moments là 🤗 Mille mercis à vous de prendre soin d'eux 🙏
I love this channel it brings me such joy. The way you speak to the babies is wonderful. Phabeni is so happy. He knows he is special. The way he runs up to his adoptive mother and nurses, he is something else. Thank you for all you do. May all good things come to you and the staff.
I love the morning sun at HERD - the land looks beautiful! One stride for Setombe = 4 steps for little Phabeni Beanie 😁❤
Phabeni is such an amazing ele. He has learned to use his trunk quickly and it explains how he might have survived on his own for a while. Perhaps baptism by fire. It amazes me he is so healthy and happy!
Amazing team amazing family will donate as soon as i get some money
That is so kind. Thank you. We are grateful for your support and encouragement here!
That’s my Khanyisa!! These three (adding Timisa) are going to be great fun, Phabeni is going to THRIVE WITH HIS NEW HERD🥰🙏🏻🙏🏻🙌🏻
I am so happy Lundy is off and Setobe step up, Khanisa has taken up lots of her freedom.❤
I adore this baby bull! He is sweet and smart. ❤
Trotting over like a big boy to meet his herd shows how much he’s grown and accomplished since his arrival. 🐘 🫶🏾 Feisty little guy 🙂
Phabeni is too cute as he plops down in the nursery! Adorable baby Elle! ❤
Phabeni has evolved into a happy little toddler ❤
🥰 Beautie, cutie and sweetie baby elephant
It's lovely to see that all the elephants have embraced Phabeni into the group ... and it seems that having a little boy elephants has brought a new dynamic into their family. It's almost like in a family of a lot of females, the new baby boy gets so much attention and love from every member of the family !! How marvelous is that !!! Just makes me so happy to see them all together and this little guy go through all the legs and yet be so safe and secure ... Nature never ceases to surprise 👏👏👏🌹🌹🌹🌳🌳🌳🌳🐘🐘🐘🐐🐐🐐🤗🤗🤗🤩🤩🤩
P have I is a sweet baby. Some wild elephant babies are naughty and try to push away the carers in their vehicles. Very very joyous and endearing.
Thank you so much for sharing these lovely videos! It is the highlight of my day watching them!!🙏❤❤❤❤❤
Phabeni is fitting right in with the herd. ❤
Phabini is such a treasure
This little guy brings a smile across my face every time I watch these videos. I love watching him with Khanysia too. They both have my heart along with the rest of the herd❤❤❤❤
I send my love and my hugs to my beautiful African elephants friends, khanysa and Phabeni, and the entire elephant herb ❤️❤️❤️❤️🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🌏
This is really so beautiful how they welcome little Phabeni into the herd and now khanyisa like him now great job team we love all of you 🎉😂😂😂❤
Phabeni already using his tiny trunk to drink water! And Khanyisa Braveheart being such a good big sister, showing him the best way to pull up grass 😊❤
Beautiful morning walk, great video photography, glad that you have had summer rains
Thanks friend!
Little Phabeni is such a happy little boy, its a joy to look at him. His sad days seems over. It is like he is born into the Herd. He is confident, not afraid and so at ease with everyone, he is one of the gang. So amazing to see them al together. He looks realy so tiny. Next to al the big boddies.
Oh, that little Phabeni is the dearest baby.🥰🐘💖
I’ve never seen the adult elephants go all the way into the nursery before! I have a new love for Setombe!💜
Oh how I would love to walk along with y’all to the swimming area!❤❤❤
This is a really good post. The little fellow is getting along so well with Setombe. He is the cutest little ellie - so playful and intelligent. Very evident he didn't want to part with Setombe. Good job, Adine.
Thank you 🙏🏽
Khanysia has gotten so big! Hard to recognize till you see her next to Phabeni!
I ❤❤ ALL elephants
Love them all so much. Each one with their distinctive personality. To the human HERD you are the finest people i have ever known. Absolutely the best of the best❤ suzanne michigan USA
It's amazing to see the incredible bond that has grown between Setombe and Phabeni. She's not happy to part from her baby and let's us know with those trumpets. Phabeni wants nothing more than to be with his new mama. They are so laser focused on each other and I'm here for this love.❤❤❤
Thank you Liverson for your knowledge, commitment and love of these elephants. I admire you and your hard work. You are amazing.
❤❤❤❤
They are adorable ❤❤
Babies, no matter the species, are so dang adorable!!!!! Okay, Ellie babies might be a tad cuter the most🥰🥰🥰
They’re just the sweetest! 🩷💙
It's fascinating that the other elephants happily drop Phabeni off at the end of the day and go about their nightly routine.
I enjoyed watching phabeni joining the herd and how the elephants care about him . Beautiful moments ❤❤❤❤❤
I'm so impressed with Liverson and his dedication to the orphaned babies and the Herd as I am with Adine and all the Carers. What an incredible group of wonderful, caring humans. The Jabulani Herd is so fortunate to have all of you.
Love your videos and the Herd!
Love how Phabeni just plopped down by that tree. How cute was that! 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙

I love watching Phabeni with Setombe. I hope Phabeni is not going hungry. He seems to want more milk from caret Liverson. I pray that the Almighty takes care of little Phabeni ❤❤❤❤❤❤
His little trunk slays me.!! I just want to say hello you are so loved❤🐘😘
Liverson is incredible and his knowledge second to none, what a lovely visit, hey are you allowed to play out Phabeni? Of course big sister Khanysia. Absolutely beautiful scenes, thank you all, much love to everyone especially Phabeni and Fishan
I have been waiting for this very moment. I feel that Khanysia very much remembers her days in the nursery, and has a special feel for Phabeni in that way. 😌
I’m so in love with this beautiful family, all the ellies and all the carers. ❤
That plop down onto the sand so cute! I hope Khanyisa has gotten over doing her little kicks to Phabeni. All of HERD bring so much joy. Thank you.
Awww poor little Phabeni wants to stay with Setombe! He really has attached to her nicely!
